22.01.2022 Is anyone looking for a TM engine Clutch Shoe or Flywheel assembly? I know very little about this engine. So anyone with some knowledge is welcome to post me some info on what it is about. I think it was used in our CIK classes. KZ I believe. But now this engine is very sort after to race in open dirt speedway events. From Road Race, Speedway Dirt, Endurance, Vintage, Bitumen and Recreation. This show will be at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton. It is not a secret that the promoter is an avid Go Kart Enthusiast and well known local in Victoria Blair Warren. Our part of the show will be known as The National Karting Ex...po but for all motorsport fans there will be an unlimited range of big time motor racing vehicles. This does depend on the exhaust spacer length in use. 13.01.2022 Regarding the Righetti Ridolfi and Kartech Yellow Faced Tachometers made by Mit Kart in Taiwan. I had a call from a customer we supplied with one of these tachos today. He said that I was the only supplier that claimed that this tacho did record ENGINE HOURS. And that all his research could not find any reference to the engine hours anywhere on the net or in any other suppliers information pages. He noted that this was the reason he had bought the tacho unit from us.... Please see below a picture of the manufactures Information Sheet. It shows the sequence needed to display the hours engines have run. Although the English is not so perfect you can clearly see in their flow diagram how to recall the engine hours. Their info states that the accumulated engine hours from initial installation cannot be changed or set to zero after the initial time is used. The temporary running time can be cleared each time you wish. This is usually after an engine rebuild or repairs were needed. It is also worth noting that the engine hours will not display anything until after an engine has run so there is some data, or should I say, time used to display.

12.01.2022 Have you had a look at the new Magnesium Wheels from Italsport recently. They are top shelf quality and light too. But the good news is that you only pay a faction of the price of the other mag wheels on the market. The fit up on MG Reds or Yellows is great and tyre wear is fantastic.... Search magnesium wheels in my ebay store. They only come as bolt-On fronts and normal wide rears so it may not suit every kart. If this configuration does suit your kart I would recommend you give them a try. The other benefit is that they are much lighter than the alloy equivalent. 09.01.2022 To my technical readers. This is for my Engine Builders and Engine tuners. Just have a look at the pics of a great and very accurate tool that will help you micro set the Ignition Timing on your best engines. It is a micrometer graduated piston stop unit that will first allow you to find the exact top dead centre (TDC) of the engine. Then have you dial in the exact amount of ignition timing you need. Accurate to 0.01mm. To set this point on spark fire before top dead centre.... I would rate this one as a must have tool if to needed to always duplicate the ignition timing you like to use. You would also train an assistant to get this right every time with this gem. Anyone with a little bit of mechanical ability would be confidently adjusting ignition timing in 5-10 minuted after a short training session. As you would expect now Colin Hurst has managed to extract a little bit more performance from his fabulous Championship winning H6 Walbro carby. Now secrecy forbids me from divulging all the new development but I can say that there is a few adjustments made that have lead to a big improvement to how much power is delivered to your race setup.... Remember that Colin was the first and still the only builder that did produce race legal KT100S engines that made over 18 genuine corrected Horsepower.
