23.01.2022 For those who have not watched 'Art of the Possible', Introduced by actress Asher Keddie Award-winning Melbourne artist Vincent Fantauzzo doesnt hold with the ...idea of the starving artist. Instead, he's made a spectacular life for himself despite leaving school at 13 barely able to read or write. His teenage years were spent working menial jobs and dabbling in petty crime until his boxing coach encouraged him to follow his passion for art. When he was outed for plagiarism at art school, his trouble with words was finally diagnosed as dyslexia. After successfully completing his fine arts degree he forged a successful career as one of Australias best known portrait artists. Heath Ledger, Julia Gillard, Baz Luhrmann and wife Asher Keddie are some of his high-profile subjects. Today Vincent no longer sees his dyslexia as a disability. Instead he calls it the gift that allows him to see the world and his subjects from a different perspective. https://www.abc.net.au/austory/art-of-the-possible/11682980
22.01.2022 In my lifetime I have seen trans youth go from being an unknown entity to a cohort that can speak up for themselves and demand support, healthcare and respect,... and I am excited to watch them grow into fulfilled adults who will show us the way. Until then, it’s up to us to create that world for them. Liz Duck-Chong https://www.theguardian.com//mark-lathams-bill-seeks-to-en

06.01.2022 Its sometimes seems like SA is going well statistically with COVID-19. I find it more realistic to look at this form of analysis, given every state varies so much regarding the population. STAY HOME IF YOU CAN - STAY SAFE
