19.01.2022 From next year, Victoria will be banning mobile phones to help reduce Cyber Bullying. We think that perhaps schools could focus more on encouraging safe & productive use, rather than banning mobile phones. After all, the present & future IS technology based, whether we like it or not. So should we be making more efforts in school to integrate tech into students work & social lives, and adapt with the times, rather than trying to hold onto what once was, and leaving these pro...blems for students to sort out once they've left school? What do you think?

Our team kick off the first show of the Term tomorrow at Sadleir Public School, followed by shows on Wednesday and Thursday at The Meadows Public School and Wollemi College! 06.01.2022 CASTING CALL - Acrobats for "Backflips Against Bullying" school performance team! ------------------------------- Application Form: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLScucmSoY-2v4JBwbj/viewform --------------------------------... Action Education performs educational Acrobatic shows across NSW Public Schools. These shows use acrobatics, parkour, and comedy, to engage students in important messages. Action Education's primary show is called 'Backflips Against Bullying', which has become a huge hit across NSW Schools. We are casting for some performers to begin shows in Term 4 2019, and some to begin in Term 1 2019. We have both long contracts (eg. 12 Months, renewable), as well as short contracts (eg. 5 weeks in Feb/March) available. This casting is for our NSW team, which will be primarily Sydney-based, with occasional touring shows across the wider NSW region. For this position, you MUST have: - Full Availability Monday to Friday during school hours (8am to 4pm) - Strong Acrobatic Ability (Gymnastics/Circus/Tricking/FreeRunning/Cheerleading/etc) - Good Vocal Skills (Acting/Public Speaking) PAY RATES: $300.00 for a Full Day program. All out of area travel costs are covered. A Full Day program is x3 1-Hour shows across the school day. Rehearsals are also paid. A team of 3 Acrobatic Actors performs each of these shows. This work is a tonne of fun, and we need performers who will harness that fun for the shows, but who also know how to professionally represent our company, and who have solid work ethic in learning & rehearsing shows. In your application, please ensure to detail ALL relevant skills, including parkour, dance, acrobatics, gymnastics, tricking, martial arts, acting, public speaking, stunts, etc. Please be specific, and list your experience in all relevant areas. 05.01.2022 Last term we performed at Central Sydney Intensive English High School, adapting the Backflips Against Bullying show to include translations, to be suitable for international students with minimal English-speaking experience! We had an absolute blast; the students were captivated and engaged, and the staff were fantastic to work with. We look forward to visiting them again in March next year!
