20.01.2022 Proud to announce we have just completed another safely & successful project for a large 6 storey commercial & car park building located on the Cnr of Hunter street & Stewart Avenue Newcastle for the design, supply, installation, commissioning & certification of a complete combined fire sprinkler & hydrant system incorporating a large drencher system and combined sprinkler/hydrant pump to comply with AS2118.1, AS2118.6, AS2118.2, AS2419.1, AS2941 This project was completed in conjunction with the Core Project group

17.01.2022 Actual testing was carried out for internal wall wetting drenchers useing a 15mm x 68 degree Tyco extended coverage sprinkler head installed in a pendant position. Overall not a bad result, however, due to limitations of installing the drencher 100mm from the glazing as per AS2118.2-2010 and not being able to fit of the sprinkler 100mm below the mullions due to the current Architectural design compliance was not achieved as water was unable to cover the full glazing of the window. In this situation both the builder, Architect & fire engineer provided an alternative solution so that the coverage would be come code compliant with the current Australian AS2118.2-2010

14.01.2022 Activate Fire Australia Pty Ltd and its subcontractors (Reactive & Hunter Valley Fire) have recently completed the design, supply, installation, commissioning & certification of a complete ESFR high hazard fire sprinkler system as per AS2118.1-2017 for this large isolated warehouse. The works was performed under Drayton Constructions on behalf of there client the Delnorth group based in Thornton (Newcastle). This project consisted of the design & installation of a large on... site water storage tank & diesel booster pumps incorporating fire brigade suction & boosters assemblies including a complete fire alarm OWS. The project was successfully delivered safely on time and within budget requirements.

02.01.2022 Activate Fire Australia are please to announce the successful completion of the Birdwood RSL Long Tan project Newcastle which was completed safely and on time in conjunction with Hansen & Yuncken Pty Ltd. This project consisted of the design, supply, installation, certification & commissioning of a combined fire hydrant/sprinkler system complying with AS2118.1-1999 & AS2118.6-2012 and the installation of a 55,000lt effective capacity on site water storage tank designed & installed at roof level including diesel booster pumps and portable fire extinguishers to comply with BCA & AS2444. We would like to thank the Hansen & Yucken project team in giving Activate Fire Australia this opportunity as we look forward to potential opportunities in the future.

01.01.2022 Another successful project completed safetly by Activate Fire Australia Pty Ltd and there subcontractors in August 2018. This large warehouse facility required internal design engineering solutions, installation, commissioning & certification of a complete high hazard ESFR fire sprinkler system to protect the warehouse incorporating a large on site water storage tank, diesel booster pumps including a complete OWS to comply with AS2118.1-1999 and the BCA E.2.2a clause 5 & AS1670.1-2015 clause 3.22. Light hazard sprinkler protection was also provided throughout both the ground floor & first floor offices including portablke fire extinguisher to comply with AS2444.
