When Snapchat first came out, I didn't understand it but when I took the time to learn it, I saw it had something that the other social networks were missing "digital orality capturing a moment of time, space and emotion" which was the answer to my question of "how do I capture my work and learning in the moment?" hashtag#LinkedIn Stories are due to come out and likely that many people will not understand its relevance on this platform. S...ee through your initial hesitation and view it as an opportunity to show and share your work and learning in the moment and to build a portfolio of your work in chronological video format. There is no right or wrong way of using video or using social networks; it comes down to how YOU want to use it for your context and needs. I have to thank Snapchat for giving me the platform where I could express my work and learning openly to a wonderful community; and given me skills in public speaking and video creation which I can now apply to ANY platform.
