If we are each able to contribute just $5 each to Activate's annual fundraising campaign we will reach our goal of $12,000! These funds will be used to help us have our biggest tree planting year ever. This means more trees, more tickets available, more carbon sequestered, more habitat and so much more! So if you haven't already contributed please consider adding what you can to our 2021 cause https://one-hundred-thousand-trees.raisely.com

13.01.2022 We love The Organic Collective too! Thanks for providing organic produce to nourish us each year. It means we can align our values, plant trees and support organic agriculture, small business, and feed planters good healthy food. Not only has The Organic Collective been a solid sponsor for several years, they also participate in the Trillion Trees Public Environmental Gift fund initiative. The Organic Collective have a wonderful organic box delivery service and they have pled...ged to plant 1 tree for every 10 boxes delivered, with the money going to this fund. And guess who was a recipient of the trillion trees environmental gift fund this year? Activate! But wait, that's not all! To keep the tree planters fed costs $40 per person over 2 weekends. The Organic Collective contributed over $1000.00 in organic food to keep the volunteers healthy and happy. To help Activate to reach their goal of raising the shortfall, you can Pay it Forward in their store when you make a purchase! So, go support these legends and shop at The Organic Collective....

12.01.2022 WOW what a wildly successful and fabulously special weekend, we are truly blown away! You all achieved unbelievable things over those two days and you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. YES we planted well over 30,000 seedlings and sandalwood nuts which is no small achievement but it is the moments in-between that are even more special. So much laughter, so many hugs. Real friendships forged and existing ones deepened even further. There was an overwhelming and unendi...ng offer of support and help, EVERYONE was willing to pitch in and get involved at the hall and in the field. We danced, we sung, we told jokes and shared stories. Kids roamed and played, made magical creations and got their hands deep in the earth. The sun shined on us from dawn until dusk and, with impeccable timing, the rain arrived just as we left to support our freshly planted tree-babies. Activate the Wheatbelt is more than a tree planting music festival we are a COMMUNITY. Each and every event is a spectacular reminder of this. Thank you to each and every one of you for bringing your energy, your love, your enthusiasm and support. We have unending love and gratitude for you all. More pics and stories from us coming soon. If you would like to share your own stories and photos you should head over to our online community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2689590821287064/

And not just any tree, a native tree endemic to the area which will: - provide essential habitat for our native wildlife - produce fresh oxygen for your lungs - pull CO2 from our atmosphere... - reduce soil erosion - prevent water table rising and even reset it - reduce soil salinity - provide important wind breaks and shelter ALL THIS FOR FIVE BUCKS!? Incredible! Click the link now and add $5 to our campaign, it takes 60 seconds and will make you feel grrrrreat https://one-hundred-thousand-trees.raisely.com/

11.01.2022 Did you have a chance to get a tree planted for National Tree Day yesterday? If not, we have the next best thing for you! Make a donation to Activate and we will plant a tree for you. We are on an ambitious fundraising drive this month to help fund next year's tree planting endeavors and we need your help to make it a reality. Every $5 donated to Activate represents one new native tree grown from seed and planted in the Wheatbelt. Every tree is carefully selected to ensure it fits the local environment so it is resilient to the harsh climate and helps rebuild the natural ecosystems of the area. Click the link and donate what you can - every donation is important! Then share this post to your page and encourage your friends to donate and learn about the importance of revegetating our precious lands, this cannot wait!

11.01.2022 #plasticfreejuly win!! Massive thanks to Bin Fairy Kat for taking trash so seriously and helping us sort our rubbish. Here what she had to say bout the experience of doing waste audit of ur 150 person 3 days festival.... We have very strong values here at activate. Not only do we have fun planting trees we also do it with minimal impact by reducing waste, getting our merch printed on organic tshirts, feeding everyone organic food and more That was such great time!! **Trashy Appreciation Update*** The trash outcome was effing great!!! With only 1 bag of rubbish and 1 bag of mixed recycling staying in Dumbleyung! Many cans and glass were taken home with Athena and Freya (Thankyou Amy Womble!), Liz's chooks will be super stoked, one bag of soft plastics for redcycle and a few bags of different rubbish and recycling went home with volunteers to put in the correct bins! (There were more people volunteering to take trash than there were bags of!) This amazing outcome would not be possible without the Kitchen Witches being so incredible, using methods of minimal waste catering, and everyone onsite being so damn wonderfully thoughtful! If anyone has any feedback for improvements or wants to trash talk in general hit me up!
