25.01.2022 OUR AWESOME OOSHIES Over the past two weeks during vacation care, all the staff have kept an eye out for children always doing the right thing, they are always polite to staff, always helping and kind to others, always willing to help clean up, are happy to give everything a go and participate in all activities and always have a huge smile on their faces! It was a very hard decision as there were many outstanding children. However, these holidays two children from each year were chosen and rewarded today with a prize and here are some of our winners!!

22.01.2022 On Wednesday all the children completed their bike and scooter test and got their license to make sure they were safe on the OOSH roads. We had our own ‘car wash’ so they could make their bikes and scooters nice and sparkly clean! Thursday we got into some carnival spirit with hair spray, face painting, and some carnival games!! Finishing up the week we had our OOSH cinema with everyone getting popcorn, juice and a chocolate!

20.01.2022 The lost property table will be here until the end of this week. Please make sure you check the table for any of your children’s belongings, after Friday these things will be donated to the Op shop

20.01.2022 Stuck for care for your kindergarten child till Wednesday? Our kindy program will continue until they start big school on Wednesday! Drop off at the same place anywhere from 6:30am-6pm. We even offer dropping them at their Best start appointment if you aren’t able to get them there!!

18.01.2022 Over the past few months we have been putting our staff through some additional training with an online course in infection control. We really value ongoing learning for our educators and take every chance to provide them with opportunities to expand their knowledge and expertise

16.01.2022 Summer is officially over, and our educators are already hard at work putting together their programs for the next school holidays, on top of the weekly before ...and after school activities to keep your kids entertained until we get there! We plan on reintroducing excursions to the upcoming school holiday program, but of course safety will always be our first consideration and so excursions will be limited to those places that we can book out just for us and can undertake full COVID safe cleaning prior to our attendance. Molly has been the Coordinator of Active OOSH Old Bar for some time now and has proven herself more than capable of running a larger service, so she was a natural choice to step in with the departure of Britt & Boaz at Active OOSH Forster.

15.01.2022 That’s a wrap on another wonderful vacation holiday! Today’s click and collect day being such a great way to end the past two weeks of a fun filled holidays! Next week we are back to before and after school care, so please ensure you’ve got your bookings in. Don’t forget any after school sport activities need a new permission note due to recent policy changes so please ensure these have been filled out and returned. All the staff here at would love to thank all of the child...ren and families for a fantastic holidays! Still due to restrictions in place and no excursions, being stuck at the service each day we have had such awesome behaviour from the children making it such an enjoyable holidays! 05.01.2022 What a week!! We started the week of with Box City, getting creative with construction of boxes and Lego! Tuesday was Adventure Sports Camp where we played lots of different sports and game’s and had a great day outside!

01.01.2022 Hi Families, If you haven't already it's time to make sure you've confirmed your 2018-2019 income with Centrelink. If you haven't confirmed by March 31st, you'll lose your Child Care Subsidy. This means you’ll be charged full fees for any OOSH sessions your child attends.
