16.01.2022 One thing we discovered from being at home in 2020 was that our themed holiday dinner parties during lockdown were as good as dining out! This evening we headed back to Hawaii with leis and poke bowls, making the most of family time again which was definitely our silver lining from last year. Being at home together everyday, we also adopted some healthy new habits. 13.01.2022 A delicious mason jar salad of baby spinach, pomegranate, coriander, finely diced red onion, mini tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, edamame and whole wheat pasta with a soy, ginger and apple cider vinaigrette. I’m a big fan of incorporating apple cider vinegar seamlessly into our daily diet as it helps maintain healthy skin, is a good natural source of potassium and is said to help relieve muscle pain from exercise. My ACV of choice is Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar as it’s ma...de with certified organic apples and is unfiltered, unheated, unpasteurized and it contains The Mother which is known for its amazing cleansing qualities. I also love how this ACV adds a beautiful zesty flavour to my dressings! The one I’ve used here is simple. Just combine: 2 tablespoons Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar 2 tablesoons soy sauce 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup A couple of drops of sesame oil Juice of half a lime Pinch of chilli flakes I popped this dressing in the bottom of a mason jar and layered it with my salad mix.
