22.01.2022 . This stand up group of young men who are students at the Christ Church Grammar School in Perth, WA recently embarked on a philanthropic project. As boarders, they were asked to research a Charity that has a positive impact on people like them living in rural communities in Australia. ... They presented to their entire school on why they believe Active Farmers is such an important charity for rural Australia. In their own words ‘We think that Active Farmers commitment to members of remote and small community’s mental health is invaluable’. Their presentation was fantastic and as a result they were awarded $1500 which they chose to donate to Active Farmers! It warms my heart to know that our next generation of farmers are so acutely aware of the benefit physical activity has on our mental well-being and the relevance of this for our small farming communities! Well done to this terrific team and thank you so much!
