21.01.2022 The 2020 Get Active! Expo has been postponed. The health and wellbeing of our community and our employees is our priority and we need to work together to do everything we can to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community. With this in mind and as a precautionary measure, Council has decided to postpone the 2020 Get Active! Expo.... We will be in contact once we know if we are able to deliver the Expo at a later stage this year. For further information regarding Council’s response to COVID-19, please visit the Maribyrnong City Council website. 19.01.2022 We know how hard the last 6 months have been for everyone so we are VERY excited to be able to announce the return of the Spring into Summer Series for 2020! Registration and participation in each program will be dictated by whatever government restrictions are in place but we are planning on delivering a range of both FACE-TO-FACE and ONLINE programs in this year’s Spring into Summer Series! Registrations will open this coming Monday 2 November!

19.01.2022 Now is more important than ever to keep our community motivated to stay active and healthy. To help our community during this time, Active Maribyrnong has developed a range of online activities, which include low intensity and high intensity workouts, cardio and strength training, mindfulness, yoga, dance and sport. There are activities for all age groups to take part in, including children home-schooling, youth completing online study, adults working from home and seniors. ...All of the programs are free and available to enjoy in your own time. 15.01.2022 In case you haven't heard the exciting announcement already, Active Maribyrnong has just launched a new online interactive physical activity program, The Get Active! at Homes Series. The Get Active! at Home Series consists of over 20 different FREE and LIVE, 6-week online physical activity programs. The program runs from Monday 4 May through to Sunday 14 June.... You can REGISTER NOW! Step 1. Complete an online registration form for your household (you can register everyone on the one form!) Once you have completed an online registration form, you will receive a confirmation email including a link to download your Get Active! at Home Series interactive calendar. Step 3.
