16.01.2022 Success of the Week Exploring with all of our senses is an amazing way to build our relationship to food as well as using other tools to develop our oral motor and fine motor skills. Thanks Liam for sharing your smiley watermelon cave with our tribe!

16.01.2022 Success of the Week Cooking is such a powerful way to experience sensory exploration. It is a function in daily life and an essential part of living, yet sometimes it can seem daunting. This week, Julie successfully made rice for herself. Well done for being brave Julie, you should feel so proud!

15.01.2022 Not long now, before chatting to these incredible humans & sharing our thoughts. I’d recommend all health professional supporting children & families to join us.

12.01.2022 Success of the Week Ari showed improved resilience, determination and motor planning and sequencing to complete this mega transfer from swings. Ari has been working on feeling confident in his body and improving his organisation so that he can challenge himself with more and more ninja warrior style play!

11.01.2022 Success of the Week When a child feels safe and secure, they are able to share beautiful moments and connect and explore with nature. It was so beautiful to witness this wonderful moment between this amazing and strong mother and son.

11.01.2022 The tools, environment & feedback matter.

08.01.2022 May we all find moments to have fun today & beyond.

07.01.2022 Doing things alongside children rather than watching them do is so very powerful.

07.01.2022 NEW YEAR Happiest of New Years to each family, friend, health worker, individual. To me the new year is an opportunity to reflect, let go, find hope & space to refuel inspiration. 2020 came with many changes, challenges, & shook a lot up. Such shifts can send us into survival mode & each individual responds differently, driven often by the state not consciously. ... Knowing this & that we can not always control situations; may we be kind. Kind to ourselves, our children & each other. Trust we are all doing the best we can with our current state & situation. Often there is huge complexities under an individuals response (behaviour). Thank you to each family & child for trusting us to support your journey in unlocking each child’s unique abilities. We remain humbled, passionate & inspired. You each teach us so much & leave an incredible warming print in our hearts & minds. May we enter 2021 with the knowledge that each individual is different & that is an incredible gift. As such each journey & destinations along the way will also be unique. May we be open to the differences; provide space for the journey; let go of judgement (of ourselves, our children & each other); support each other with compassion & connection; & value playfulness, connection, creativity & nature enough to prioritise such experiences. We look forward to the adventures to come & sharing with each of you. With open arms & hearts.
