23.01.2022 YOGA AND/OR DANCE TRIAL CLASS (FREE) We hope to run a Yoga and/or Dance class in the ARPA Active Over 50s facility at 25 Leigh Street, Adelaide. We have a small group interested and the teacher Andriza is offering a trial class. This will be held on Thursday October 14th: 10am to 10:45am Dance class / 15 minute break / 11am to 11:45am Yoga class If you have not registered yet, please contact the office (82719711 or [email protected]).... You will need to bring a bottle of water, towel and yoga mat, and come with comfortable clothes. Please note that yoga classes are done without shoes. For both activities we can use chairs; the teacher can adapt the class according to the needs and interest of members. Please tell the teacher if you have any pain or health issues. After the free trial class (the room fee is also being waived), members wishing to participate will be asked to pay $60 in advance to cover 6 x one-hour lessons (yoga or dance) ($10 per lesson, including room hire). Lessons will be held fortnightly. We need at least 10 people to maintain a class. Name of modalities: Hatha Yoga and Dance mix. Pleas, call the office if you have any questions. We look forwarding to start these amazing activities.

12.01.2022 Pleasure Fishing: Our very active group bring together members that share a love of fishing and who fish at various locations throughout the State. We usually visit three different places throughout the year, staying in caravan parks. Special days are spaced in between trips to allow members to renew acquaintances and meet new members. These social days are held at different locations around Adelaide in suitable parks or at a member’s home. Although the emphasis is on pleasur...e fishing, competition does exist and the Yellow Jacket is awarded to the person who catches the longest fish on a particular trip. For further details contact Paul and Jeanette on 0429 678 536 or email: [email protected] Visit the Pleasure Fishing Group website : https://rjboth.wixsite.com/pleasurefishinggroup Photo by Jeanette Martin
