25.01.2022 So happy to say that tap seems to have enjoyed another resurgence recently with lots of little (& big) ones wanting to tap. Perhaps this is due to stage shows like Billy Elliot, movies like Happy Feet and great local tappers like the Egan brothers and Girls on Tap. Whatever it is, we love everything tap here at Active Style Dancewear and cater to absolute beginners (So Danca shoes from $50) to the pro tap dancer (Double soled Slick buckle or oxford taps from $75). Dancers, actors, performers, film extras, modelling, influencers, specialist schools and courses, or even self growth + confidence. ... Most applications require a headshot and many want to see a full length shot as well. Joining an agency? Most will want to take a digi of you when you register. Once registered agencies will often want you to send an updated headshot every season. My photo workshops are aimed at helping people feel relaxed when in front of a camera. Going for an audition or casting where you have to stand in front of a camera? No problem you have already had experience in a photo shoot. You know your best angles, poses, expression, outfit etc. A portfolio is an investment, you are the product, promote you the product in the best light, flattering outfits with a pick me image. Normally $200 per hour. Sunday 5th July 2020 special $50 per 30mins. July Prize: One student will be offered the chance to design and model their own dance apparel hand made in Sydney.
