25.01.2022 What a season's opener...57 athletes...lots of new faces, long fast legs and strong arms...some cracking competition...a big shout of thanks to our 12 volunteers and officials... can't wait to do it all again next week. I promise throwers pictures next week!

18.01.2022 And that's a wrap. The ACT Team tossed themselves literally across the finish line: the falls went further than the heavy weight balls! Thanks to our awesome, award winning Thrower, Jayne Hardy, for putting in four, 12-hour days to ensure equipment was record breaking compliant, for whipper-snippering the grounds ready, for setting up the recording sheets, for being chief and competition commander, and for making our ACT virtual competition possible. So grateful that you are part of ACT Masters.

14.01.2022 Lunch break in Canberra ... The punters are feeling yesterday's pentathlon, and certainly not as fresh as the field of daisies we are throwing in.

12.01.2022 Today’s first time we made having a throwing pentathlon and I got my personal best!

09.01.2022 Day 2 Done.... that's a double pentathlon and a one armed weight throw to hoot.... everyone's heading home for an Epsom Salts bath!

08.01.2022 An update from the Nation's capital and the Canberra 2021 Local Organising Committee of the Masters Athletics Track and Field National Champs: We are closely watching the current COVID travel restrictions and border closures with great concern. We have delayed opening registrations and have an emergency meeting of the LOC scheduled for Monday 4 January -watch this space.
