24.01.2022 Wild Butterfly (the Claire Murray story) had its sold-out Premiere at Luna Cinema last night, and ActorsMIs Ashleigh Zinko gave a compelling performance as Claire Murray (Lead). Wild Butterfly is a dramatised documentary that explores childhood trauma and its relationship to ongoing mental health issues and drug use. 17.01.2022 Our new production company Breakthrough productions is very excited to be producing a web series with a group of our talented emerging actors in it. Written and Produced by Ali Roberts and to be Directed by James Bogle it is being funded by the actors themselves through various fundraising initiatives. We have an incredible professional WA Crew engaged that all have been involved with major film and tv productions. The web series will have 8 x 8 minute episodes, and will al...so provide the opportunity for our actors to gain valuable on-set experience with a professional crew, a vital IMDB Credit, and footage for their Acting Showreel. The actors have set up a GoFundMe program to help raise part of the necessary funds for the production to be undertaken, so if you are able to support this amazing project, any donations will be gratefully accepted by the actors. 03.01.2022 The time is NOW (actually its 10 years late!), but NOW is the time to get this project done. **WA is the only major State without a proper Screen Studio Production Facility (Sound Stages)** Melbourne (Docklands), Sydney (Fox Studios), the Gold Coast (Village Roadshow) and even Adelaide (SA Film Corp) have proper Studio and Sound Stage facilities to attract major international film productions....and they get them!!!! WA, as usual, lags in major infrastructure projects as it... usually takes us 20 year to decide to do ANYTHING (see Perth Stadium as an example that was delayed so many times, and is now a WORLD CLASS facility and the BEST in Australia, and the social and financial benefits go far beyond sport). Now our State Government is in a position to really help the film and tv industry in this State by just getting it done!!! And to start to attract major film and tv productions to our wonderful, beautiful and amazing State! Stage 1 - short term solution - Jones St OConnor warehouse facility - can be done in 6-9 months!!
