17.01.2022 BIG GUNS FIRE IN TUNE FOR FINALS The Cirrus Jaguars powered on to a consecutive win after beating the WPL favourites SW3K Tigers in a thrilling 1 point game in round 5 (washout game), and then Jaguars went on to show why they really are a real threat for the 2020 title after running around the cheetahs and defeating them 9 -1 with Sam Bailey and Tijana Zdravevska having standout performances. Tigers tightened their grip and held onto minor premiers in 1st spot, big gun Sarah ...Carter was out with a hamstring injury but, Abbey Bailey, Caitlin Turnbull and Klara Manenica tuned up for the finals with five-star performances defeating the Panthers 8-1 Semi-finals will be held on Monday 21st and it’s hard to see last year’s grand finalists SW3K Tigers and CIRRUS Jaguars not going on with it and play their way through to the grand final for a repeat grand final of last year. Pride and passion will come into play for the underdogs Pacific FM Panthers and Siren’s Cheetahs and an upset is not out of the question.
