18.01.2022 SAVE THE DATE - Council on the Ageing ACT is the not-for-profit organisation that administers the ACT Seniors Card. Given that we are a charity organisation, we have been selected by Beyond Bank to be one of their 30 charity groups to host a Double Donation Day. We would like to invite ACT Seniors Card recipients to SAVE THE DATE for our Double Donation Day on Wednesday 28 October.... On our Double Donation Day, Beyond Bank will dollar match up to $5000 of donations received by COTA ACT. We aim to raise $5000 which means Beyond Bank will match this so that COTA ACT will receive a total of $10,000. The funds will be used to support our programs that assist senior Canberrans affected by COVID-19. For more information visit the COTA ACT website and don't forget to donate on 28 October! https://www.cotaact.org.au/.../reimaginingageing-dollar.../

01.01.2022 Council on the Ageing ACT is doing some research on feelings of isolation and how easy it is for older Canberrans to find services and programs that support positive and active ageing. We are keen to understand if being active plays a part in helping Canberrans over the age of 55 feel less isolated. If you are 55 years of age and over and have two minutes to spare, can you please fill in this survey. The information you supply will assist us in developing a project that will improve the ability of older Canberrans to remain active, engaged and connected. Please feel free to share this survey with your friends and colleagues.
