24.01.2022 This is so sad. What are we becoming in this world.

24.01.2022 Hello to you all. We at Actual Health would like to thank you all for your support during our brief time in our Joondalup office. We have been given an opportunity for our family to be united and live together on a daily basis. So we have jumped at the chance to be a complete family where mum and dad are present every evening. However this means we must pack up lock stock and barrel and move to dryer pastures so to speak. I will be consulting once we get settled in to our... new home in the Pilbara. So if there are any of our readers in that area we look forward to meeting you all :) So once again our most sincere Big Thank you !! See more

17.01.2022 Hello Folks, After some long absence and trying to settle in to our new home has come with some challenges. The Pilbara is a lovely place just not in the summer months. I have struggled with the crazy temperatures some days reaching above the 40 degree Celsius Crazy crazy! this is what I was thinking... Anyway now the weather has cooled down we are getting warmed up. Actual Health will be opening the doors again. Appointments will be taken from Monday the 16th of May 2016.... Look forward to working with you to achieve you health goals. See more

15.01.2022 How to prepare yourself for a great massage. 1. Keep your body well hydrated at all times. We all have heard the benefits of hydration, (feeling of suppleness,Youthful glow, great circulation, healthy hair and skin, bright eyes, organs of elimination functioning full steam ahead, clear mind) and so on. All thanks to good ole water.... Your muscles perform alot better when they are hydrated. Massage can dehydrate your muscles by moving and shifting metabolic waste out via lymph nodes that drain before re-entering circulation. Being hydrated aids your massage experience, as this allows your therapist to grab and manipulate the muscles smoother and you feeling less like you have been out on a battle ground. 2. Have a nice long hot shower before you attend your massage session. This helps not only to relax and warm your muscles but also helps to rest your mind. Feel the stress rolls off you under the cascading water. (It does for me) 3. Taking magnesium may help to relax your muscles prior to receiving your treatment. 4. Remember, to let your therapist know, what areas you would like them to concentrate on,(at least you get that gratification of getting your monies worth). Nothing worse than paying your hard earn cash feeling meh. 5. Re-hydrate after you have had your massage!! Your therapist will ask to drink a glass after your treatment and for you to continue drinking water throughout the rest of the day. This not only helps to restore your muscles but also helps to remove toxic waste.
