24.01.2022 Traditional Chinese medicine is based on a philosophy of balance with nature. The school of thought for traditional Chinese medicine is that a human's body is a self-regulating system. Internally, it regulates to achieve a balance between each part, but sometimes it needs some outside help (TCM) to achieve that balance. Traditional Chinese medicine advocates that everyone's body has natural healing abilities. Medical treatment offers assistance to those healing abilities.... www.brisbane-acupuncture.com.au Info Sourced: https://www.chinahighlights.com//chinese-medicine/facts.htm . . . #acupuncturecupping #alternativehealthcare #markcrainacupuncture #brisacu #alternativehealth #cupping #acupuncturebensonhousetoowong #brisbaneacu #Chinesemedicinebrisbane #brisbaneacupuncture

18.01.2022 MIGRAINES & HEADACHES. Migraines are one of the worst types of headaches we can experience. If caused by serotonin receptors or from muscular tension of the neck or jaw they are difficult to manage. Headache is a common symptom and may be a primary disorder or a secondary symptom of other disorders. Primary headache can be categorized as cluster, tension or migraine and may be aggravated by stress or tiredness.... Tension headaches are one of the most common headaches after migraines and can be distinguished by a headache lasting 30 minutes to 7 days and are normally non-pulsating, mild to moderate in severity, bilateral, and not aggravated by exertion. Tension headache can precede a migraine. Acupuncture can be used for headaches and migraines. Following the episodic nature of these conditions, the acupuncturist can pick times that are most beneficial for acupuncture treatment. www.brisbane-acupuncture.com.au Phone: 0402 251 564 . . . #brisbaneacu #acupuncturebensonhousetoowong #markcrainacupuncture #acupuncturepractitioner #toowongacupuncture #acupuncture #acupuncturetoowong #acupuncutrequeensland #brisacu #acupuncturemarkcrain

16.01.2022 Vitamin C is essential in the body’s production of Collagen and using a vitamin C rich oil such as this beautiful organic Rosehip along with a vitamin C supplement will help boost your results by assisting the body to produce collagen in response to the needling of the skin. Collagen breaks down due to UV exposure and lifestyle factors like smoking and poor dietary habits. The breakdown of Collagen causes the skin to become dry, lose elasticity, and start to become lined and ...wrinkled. Cosmetic Acupuncture techniques kick-start the production of collagen and increase blood flow to restore a healthy glow to the face. Even better with added vitamin C both as a topical and increased in the daily diet. 14.01.2022 Is Acupuncture good for anxiety? What are the benefits? There have been several studies done about the effects of acupuncture on anxiety. These studies have focused mostly on generalized anxiety disorder and suggest that acupuncture is helpful in treating general anxiety.... One promising study from 2015, for example, found that acupuncture improved symptoms in people with anxiety that didn’t respond to other treatments, including psychotherapy and medication. Participants received ten 30-minute sessions of acupuncture over the course of 12 weeks. They experienced a significant reduction in their anxiety, even 10 weeks after treatment. However, two reviews of existing research, one from 2007 and another from 2013, note that many studies on the subject aren’t very reliable. Some had very few participants including the one mentioned above while others were poorly designed. On the other hand, these reviews also point out that acupuncture doesn’t seem to have a negative effect on anxiety. In a more recent 2016 study on rats, acupuncture was found to be effective for reducing anxiety. The researchers suggested that it impacts how the body triggers the fight-or-flight response. While we need to understand better how acupuncture affects anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias, research is showing promise for acupuncture as a viable and safe option. If you have anxiety that hasn’t responded to other treatment methods, or you’re simply interested in trying something new, acupuncture shouldn’t worsen your symptoms. www.brisbane-acupuncture.com.au Phone: 0402 251 564 https://www.healthline.com/health/acupuncture-for-anxiety . . . #acupuncturecupping #acupuncturetoowong #markcrainacupuncture #brisacu #acupuncutrequeensland #cupping #alternativehealthcare #brisbaneacu #Chinesemedicinebrisbane #acupuncturebrisbane

13.01.2022 MUSCLES AND JOINTS Acupuncture is one of the most effective modalities for relieving muscle and joint pain. Acute muscular pain from overstrain of muscles has been shown to improve with the use of Acupuncture. Specific points are used and though painful points may be observed the needling of such points is not recommended unless as a last resort. The Acupuncturist will isolate the muscle damage and use points according to the presenting pain and muscle involvement. www.brisba...ne-acupuncture.com.au Phone: 0402 251 564 . . . #acupuncturebrisbane #cupping #acupuncturemarkcrain #alternativehealth #Chinesemedicinebrisbane #acupuncturetoowong #queenslandacupuncture #acupuncturepractitioner #alternativehealthcare #acupuncturebensonhousetoowong
