25.01.2022 Attn: AcuFit 360 Health Customers We understand this is a very confusing and uncertain time for all. We have taken a considered approach to this matter before addressing our community. ... Due to the continuously changing policies regarding Allied Health professionals (which include us), we have implemented several key changes in our business model. As we understand it, we can and will continue to remain open and provide health care to our patients and the greater community. Our role in easing the burden on the healthcare system is not something we take on lightly. We have made the difficult decision to close our Wollongong facility from Monday the 6th of April for the time being, however we will continue to keep our Thirroul clinic open. We are continuously reviewing and increasing our health standards and infection control protocols to meet the requirements set by the Australian Government to assist reduce and contain the spread of Covid-19. As such, as of Monday April 6th 2020, there will be updates to our clinic times: 1.Our hours of operation: -Thirroul: -Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 8am-5pm. -Tuesday, Thursday: 10-7pm. 2.Each consult has been spaced out to allow for reduced patient flow in the waiting room and, to allow for sanitising and cleaning of each room. The bulk of our current health treatment offerings are in Herbal Medicine. We implore our client base to reach out and enquire about herbal medicine approaches to the treatment of injuries and illnesses, and for boosting their immunity as we transition through Autumn and Winter and, whilst we navigate the Covid-19 health crisis. We are also offering patients Telehealth/zoom video consultations to enable us to contact you to discuss your health issues. As always, we look to support you, our community. You are not alone in this and over the coming weeks if you ever feel anxious or fearful or need a chat- we are here for you. Yours in health and wellbeing, Jane, Eamon and Mike. See more

17.01.2022 One of my old high school teachers drove all the way down from Bondi for a treatment today because youre the best at acupuncture . I know he hasnt had acupuncture from anyone else before but I appreciate him saying it . Paul is testament to me, and a lot of his old students, that the effect that you have on people is the only currency there is ... . Sometimes people need a lot from you but most of the time some nice words or just showing up for them will go along way . As Forrest Gump says thats all I have to say about that.. See more

16.01.2022 Food for thought . Our earth is spinning at roughly 1600km per hour.. . And it’s hurtling through space around the sun at 107,000km per hour..... . The sun and our solar system appear to be moving at an average of 720,000km per hour.. . SO basically we are hurtling through infinite space AND no one’s driving this ship See more

16.01.2022 As most people know, Im a massive fan of mindfulness and empowering people to take control of their situation and their lives . Birth preparation is so important to increasing better birth outcomes and I always recommend my patients & their partners participate in calm birthing courses once they shoot past 26 weeks of pregnancy . And, as of this year its being offered in Wollongong ... #Repost @calmbirth_with_lyndal with @get_repost c a l m b i r t h n o w i n w o l l o n g o n g Hi Im Lyndal and these are the little loves of my life. I come to Calmbirth as a midwife and a mother. A mother who used the Calmbirth skills and knowledge in all three of my labours. A Registered Midwife who has worked with women for 10 years now. I became interested in childbirth education after being a part of some very beautiful and positive birth experiences, the women who experience this leave fear behind and enter their birth space with trust and confidence. For this aspect of your life, the journey towards parenthood, I whole-heartedly believe knowledge is power. It was the birth of my first child that made me realise I wanted to empower women and their partners to take control of their own birth experience. Calmbirth is so perfectly aligned with my birth and labour philosophies that it was the obvious path for me to follow. Im so excited to finally be able to bring this course to Wollongong.

14.01.2022 The number 1 thing you can do to combat stress is to use the triangle breathing technique. breathing through the nose Follow a 4sec inhale - 8sec exhale - 4 sec hold. Repeat as many times as you need

14.01.2022 I’ve been marinating on this quote for some time now. . I’ll be taking a sabbatical from clinic life for the next month or so. If you’re a current client have no fear as our other tremendous staff members will be in clinic to help you reach insane levels of zen and wellbeing . For as long as I can remember I’ve always tried to share, teach, discuss & embody simple ideas of health + wellness. ... . Most of the time I get caught in the discussion phase instead of the action phase. So I’ve decided to take some action. And that action requires me stepping back from practice. . I have a vision for life and I want it to become a reality. I’ve realised over time that I want to empower people to change their lives for the better. Even though I’m an Acupuncturist, I actually don’t have any attachment to people doing acupuncture. My goal is to get people fired up about their own physical emotional and spiritual/existential states so they can crush their limitless life goals. . Acupuncture can be that catalyst but so can your first ice bath . . In fact, since I started practicing, my goal for my clients was to fast track them getting back to doing what they love and by making me redundant. Give people a skill set to help them navigate the challenges of life just a tad easier. . But what I’ve learnt overtime this isn’t as simple as I thought. It’s also not a terribly effective way to run a small business... AND I need to figure out a way to help people and make bank cause as we all know everything in life costs something. . Change + growth is undeniably tough. Taking control of your life and health requires breaking down so many cultural, familial, societal paradigms and all expectations of yourself. . Taking a step back feels right but has also triggered a lot of insecurities around giving up or making a mistake- but I believe if you want something great you’ve got to create enough space for something greater to fit.. . I guess my long diatribe cut short: 2020 has been a big perspective shift for a lot of people including myself- and the loud question beating in my heart: If not now- when? . Much love legends . ~> my sabbatical starts on the 11th Sept <~ See more

02.01.2022 Day 21/21 today was the final day in my Abundance Meditation series. Over 21 days, each day There is a new meditation and a new task to complete. The final task is to reflect and post a video of your experience in the hopes of opening up even more space in your body for abundance and also to reach and connect with someone to inspire them to make a change and seek a positive and abundant mindset for themselves. I did the series for the challenge, but I had no idea how much of my life would open up for me and how many obstacles: finance, work, stress & pressure, difficult relationships etc would almost completely disappear. Im truly humbled and grateful for having done the experience and feeling blessed as shit atm love yall, Easy

01.01.2022 This month is Endometriosis Awareness Month and it is so important to bring awareness to this disease that affects millions of women world wide. 1 in 10 women ...have endometriosis and those are the ones diagnosed. A significant portion of women with endometriosis are asymptomatic and many women do not realise they have it, or have been missed and dismissed along the way. This means the 1 in 10 women with endometriosis is grossly understated. There is often up to 10 years or more to diagnosis, which means that many women are missed and dismissed before they are finally diagnosed. The only way to definitively diagnosed endometriosis is via surgical intervention (laparoscopy with histology). Scans and blood tests cannot definitely diagnose endometriosis. The one message that all of us involved in the education and awareness of endometriosis want everyone to know is that "Period Pain" is not normal. While slight discomfort with a period may be normal, pain (especially bad period pain) is not normal. Period pain can be a sign of endometriosis. While period pain is often the most talked about point of endometriosis, we also need to educate all that endometriosis just isn't about period pain. There are so many other associated symptoms that we need to bring awareness to as well. The common signs of endometriosis are: Period Pain Pain with intercourse Ovulation pain IBS like symptoms Pain on bowel movement Bleeding from the bowel UTI like symptoms (without infection present) Fatigue Anxiety and mood disorders Bloating (can be severe)- also known as endo belly Musculosketal pain Pelvic and rectal pressure feeling Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) Others Endometriosis has hereditary links and it now thought to be genetic. Endometriosis is driven by estrogen, so even small amounts of exogenous estrogens will drive the disease. It is not from estrogen dominance and it is not autoimmune. Endometriosis is basically normal tissue growing in abnormal areas. It behaves very much like cancer, but it is not cancerous. Endometriosis has been found in every part of the body and it can cause damage to multiple organs if it is not managed properly. Many women with endometriosis are poorly managed, or are not being managed at all. This is why there needs to be more awareness about the serious complications of unmanaged endometriosis. This month I will be focussing on the facts about Endometriosis and am also very excited be launching the first network of practitioners who are experts in Endometriosis called "The Endometriosis Experts". There will also be a launch of other experts programs called "The PCOS Experts", "The Women's Health Experts" and "The International Fertility Experts". Stay tuned for more exciting news to follow. This month please also support Endometriosis Australia and the "Endo March" High Teas. I will be posting more information about these as well. Lastly, if you have unmanaged endometriosis, or have bad period pain etc, please make sure you seek help for this. If you do need help, you can call my friendly staff and find out how I can assist you and more about my online, or in person consultations. Please do not put up with period pain, or other menstrual related symptoms, or unmanaged endometriosis. Nobody can manage these symptoms themselves and why it is so important to see an Endometriosis expert.
