Somewhere in my brain is stored not just the location and name of over 400 points but also their function! It took me 4 years at university plus ongoing training to get skilled at acupuncture. Plus I now have 15 years clinical experience under my belt. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine requires a very thorough kno...wledge of the body. It also requires a deep understanding of the system of Chinese medicine to know how to use points along meridians to influence and create changes in its health and functioning. The first time she got diagnosed she radically changed her life, way of thinking and spent much more time on her health and with her family. 09.01.2022 There must have been something in the water here in Bunbury nine and a half months ago because it seems like theres a whole lot of pregnant women whove reached the end. In the past two weeks Ive had 3 pf my patients deliver beautiful healthy baby girls!! Congratulations to Caroline, Annie and Sarah. 05.01.2022 It is with great sadness (mixed with relief), that I have closed my doors until further notice. For the past week I have battled whether going to work is the right thing to do. Finally making that decision on Saturday that it would be my last day in clinic until this all blows over was a great relief.. I feel strongly I have done the right thing for myself, my family and the community as a whole. Please everyone keep informed, look at what has happened in other parts of the... world and be smart about your choices as they will affect us as a whole.. For now I will be getting my family used to their new home based routine but I once that is established Im looking forward to using this time to consolidate, improve and expand on my skills and training, particularly growing and building on my Chinese herbal medicine knowledge. I hope to be able to get some Chinese herbal medicine options available to the local community in good time but for now my focus is on the home and family and helping the people close to me cope with this ever changing situation..
