20.01.2022 HOW TO FEEL REBORN AGAIN AT 50! Haven’t you heard? The word, word is out- The 50’s are the new 30’s, according to a study done with American women experiencing menopause!... But I know I know, nothing is working like it used to right?! You’re dieting, exercising, and doing everything right, but it’s just not working for you anymore! It seemed to work for you in the past but right now- it’s just not cutting it! And on top of that, you feel tired, frustrated, and almost every single area of your life is being affected; work, friendships, hubby, and most importantly- you!!! It feels like you just don’t know yourself anymore and YES, the weight gain due to your change in hormones is real. And, it probably feels like you’re on a real life rollercoaster ride too! Your estrogen, progesterone and testosterone levels have decreased, and at the same time your cortisol & stress levels have increased! Your body feels so different, and what seemed to work for you in the past, just isn’t working for you anymore! You’re longing to feel vibrant, energetic and full of life once again, and you’d give anything to have your sexy back! Well ladies, below are 3 things you can do right now to help you feel better and gain more energy right away! 1- Include a lot more anti-inflammatory foods in your diet such as turmeric and cinnamon. 2- Drink more water. In Chinese medicine we always recommend water to be at body temperature so that you don't expend energy warming it, and, add lemon juice to it too. The lemon juice not only alkalises the water, it is high in Vit C also. 3- Practise meditation. The older we get the more susceptible to stress we become, so I highly suggest commencing a meditation practise. It doesn't need be 1 hour long, just start with 20 minutes, or perhaps even 10. You can do silent meditation, guided meditation, mantras, use whatever technique suits you best. The most important thing is to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth, from your belly and not from the chest. If you’ve made it this far and are still here reading, thank you, and, if you want to discover more tips, tricks, tools and strategies to help you such as recipes, exercises, mindset, self love, meditation, acupression points, herbs and supplements, and join a community of like minded women just like you, go ahead and join my Facebook group A holistic way to look at Life See you there, Love, Maria

15.01.2022 What is your favourite meditation? Meditation has countless benefits for body mind and spirit, and is all about breathing. Today I meditated with JJ playing for me in the magic room. ... Hope you can hear me breathe, have a deep breath from your stomach, breathe in, hold for 5 sec and breathe out.... Love, Maria
