According to WHS Regulations from 2017, "the acceptable level of noise that any worker can be exposed to in the workplace is 85 decibels (dB) averaged over an eight-hour period" Noise and sound monitoring is important to help reduce Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), not just to keep the neighbours happy!
