22.01.2022 CARE GYM What is Care Gym? Care Gym is a simple exercise program designed by fully qualified Chinese medicine practitioner Suiying Liao. The exercise program is made up of a series of simple exercise actions based on the theory of Chinese Medicine, a natural medicine philosophy from the ancient East. These exercise activities are different from Taichi or Yoga.... Everyone can practice, busy parents, office workers and Care Gym is also especially good for aged people and those with degenerative conditions. Aims are to: - improve flexibility and balance - increase energy and strength - help manage chronic pain, blood sugar levels and blood pressure There are in total 12 sets of actions in the exercise and after learning the actions it will only take about 10 to 20 minutes of practice each day. No equipment required. People can release their whole body with the actions and feel refreshed straight afterwards. You are masters of your own bodies! In 2019, we are very pleased to work together with Chelsea Heights Community Centre to introduce Care Gym to more people in our local community. Soon Suiying will start a one-hour Care Gym in the centre every Wednesday afternoon 2-3pm. Hopefully more and more people and their families can experience the benefits for their health through practicing it in the near future. If you have any inquiry about this program, please feel free to contact Suiying in 0414 711 409. *Commencement could be an earlier date due to the number of registrations.
