25.01.2022 So something happened this week! Rosie and Sam, who knot-tied it back in December had their very cool wedding featured on the Hello-May blog. So many great people involved in this wedding, it couldn't help but be one to remember...I include Sam and Rosie in that list, as they made this happen! Check out the blog for the full team.

23.01.2022 This man waiting patiently on my right...left in the pic I guess...is none other than the miraculous Benny Roff, or you might know him from @funweddings that he does for interesting people! This guy is most definitely one of the best things about working in this job...he typifies the kind of cool cat that Brides and Grooms are so lucky to now have as an option for their weddings these days. Benny is what I would call a "triple threat" - He can sing, he can Celebrant...a...nd he can do a killer Attenborough impersonation! Good work my man! 22.01.2022 "This is a vote because some in the Coalition can never countenance equality and they are never going to change their minds. They simply cannot countenance people like me and others being equal. Simple as that." In many ways it is a shame that Penny sits in the Senate so therefore is not a candidate to lead this country...but she is most definitely a leader. I for one am glad that there are still some people of substance left in a decaying political system.

15.01.2022 Hi All, So I was sitting here today and thought I would start a video, so I chose a topic that I am quite passionate about - Marriage Equality. This should be an easy decision for our government and our society to make happen and accept...but for some reason it has been made more complex than it should. In this little rant I raise just a couple of points to counteract some of the main and common reasons people use against Marriage Equality.... I sincerely apologise for the vigorous desk tapping noise that keeps on increasing as I get further in to the video and seemingly more passionate about it!!

We had a surprise wedding and wanted a celebrant who would not only capture the essence of the occasion but of us as a couple. 09.01.2022 A little while ago I met a couple of mine who told me I needed to check out this site called WedShed! So glad I did, met some pretty cool girls who run it and I got involved. Here's a little interview I did with them....

09.01.2022 Walking back into business be like (now that weddings are back on).... _________________________________________ . Iso life brought with it many challenges and major alterations. The Altar Electric we saw it as a chance for us to make something great happen. .... When early March rolled around and in under 48 hours we saw 20+ cancellations and postponements come in an onslaught we took stock. . The best thing about having the worlds best business partners and best friends in Mrs Hitch and Marry Me Dee is that were always looking forward and not dwelling on things. Wed also worked incredibly hard over the last few years to make sure our little business was resilient and could stand up to anything. And whilst we didnt plan for this particular event to happen, we were ready still. . So we pushed ahead and worked with some incredibly gifted creative minds and we made our chapel upgrade happen. . So much thanks goes to Good Day Club for their design leadership and vision. Scanlan and Makers for taking white bland walls that were giving Dee nightmares and transforming them into piece of genuine art (and for helping me see that Peach can be a colour I love). BLOOM BOY you are unbelievable how you can mix flare with subtlety and always nail the brief. . Gold and Grit Photography man, these photos you got of us are so so so so so so amazing, you captured all of it in full glory. 01.01.2022 So I am normally posting about weddings that I have performed...today it is something a little more special! This is a wedding I went to as a guest for my wonderful sister and her new husband. What is more amazing for this wedding is all of my incredible wedding world friends who chipped in to support and make this day as incredible as it was. Here's to Laura Brady from Briggins.
