25.01.2022 Our home offices served us well over the last few months after a move into a commercial office space last year sadly didn't work out. Sunday was spent painting our new office/shop space that will be the home to ERA Magazine, Adala Group and Adala Publishing. There's also an exciting new venture to come. 23.01.2022 Line spacing is the space between lines of text. It is measured from the baseline of one line to the baseline of the next. Not sure what the baseline is? I’ll explain that in my next post. When speaking to your designer you may hear them use the word leading instead of line spacing. That term goes back to the days of hot metal typesetting and refers to the strips of lead that were placed between lines of metal type to create the line space. Line spacing is important. Too little or too much can spoil the look of a design and affect the readability of the text. #hotmetal #typesetting #graphicdesign #textdesign #adalagroup #adalapublishing
