23.01.2022 Looking for an alternative to traditional bread? The Paleo Hero bread mix is a great one to sub in if your needing to avoid grains/gluten - I've been enjoying this one for a few months now! I love this toasted like normal bread, but my favourite is straight out of the oven with butter, EveryMite & avo. Delicious!

19.01.2022 Look at my Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms Oyster Mushrooms!! We've experienced great amazement watching these grow Farmer Ken said to me a few days after getting it all set up "Are there mushrooms yet?".... I was like "Don't be silly, they won't grow over night", then the next day there were pin heads popping up everywhere! Legit - they doubled in size every day!

19.01.2022 Yesterday was a good day I’d been searching high & low for a butcher up this way that does salt only Bacon - AKA chemical, nitrate, sugar & rubbish free! I wasn’t able to find anything locally, but I found Organic Meat Online who are based in Boonah & they deliver all over Australia, with reasonable shipping costs!... This is my second order, and I’m well impressed with the quality of the meat & delivery. Order on a Wednesday & delivered the next day, Thursday - fresh & cold! I even missed the cut off this week, but they generously popped my order through! If you live up north & looking to source grass fed, rubbish free, organic meat - I recommenced these guys! 18.01.2022 Fresh batch of Crunchies (as Farmer Ken calls them) I just throw all the ingredients (shredded coconut, nuts, chopped dates, sunflower & pumpkin seeds) on the tray, drizzle over vanilla, coconut/macadamia oil & some honey/rice malt syrup. Bake for around 20 mins on 180 degrees - or until browned.... I like to turn the mixture over a few times to get even cooking Be careful through - they are quite moreish straight out of the oven See more

16.01.2022 When Asti’s paws (Our new horse like dog) make contact with your ankle My wound healing is very slow at the moment with everything that’s going on in my body, so I’ve been ENAR-ing Asti’s branding to get that healing process expedited. I’ve also been using colloidal silver gel a few times a day to keep the nasties out. ... Now I just have to be careful of Harley re-opening the wound when he gets excited and jumps around me like a silly head See more

16.01.2022 Renewing my Love of Jelly at the age of 33 years old! Dad still isn't a fan, but I've caught Naughty Nanny having a couple pieces in her Ice Cream! Every time I make a batch, they disappear so fast! ... Dad keeps reminding me, that I'm the one who is eating them all! I've got the recipe (finally) jotted down! PS - Make sure you use a good quality gelatin! I Love Nutra Organics Enjoy x https://adamandevewellness.com.au/gut-lovin-jelly/

09.01.2022 Kitchen Hack Do You only use half a jar of the likes of passta sauce, tomato paste or yogurt? I know I do - usually every week!... But, I make sure I freeze the left overs in ice cube trays, then bag up so i can throw them in my cooking/smoothies when needed! No waste here!

08.01.2022 Look at this glorious Native Been Honey! We took to Farmer Ken's Native Bee Hives a few weeks back, to split them up & harvest the honey from they ones set up for honey production! This batch had been in the making for the last 12 months - very slow process with these bees. It was super facinating to see what the Bees had been upto in the hives! ... We got around 1 cup of honey from one hive & it's a very different taste to the usual honey - it has quite a citrus flavour to it, which is an interesting twist. I'm planning to make a Cheesecake of sorts with some of the honey, I think that will taste delicious with the citrus flavour. The Bees are now LOVING the flowering Paper Bark Tree across the road so hoping their back to producing some more honey!

07.01.2022 C A B B A G E U P D A T E Can confirm, my cabbages aren’t doing the best It’s been 4 months now & I’ve lost 2 of my 6 plants ... I have 2 plants that are quite developed & 2 that aren’t. What I have learnt though- I tied them up way too early - Their heads weren’t developed enough - The loose leaves that I wrapped up when I tied them started to die inside - When I unwrapped them, they become sunburnt - The constant watering, made them start to rotten & go mouldy So yeah, my first run at cabbages has been a learning experience. I’m hoping my 4 heads make it through to maturation See more

05.01.2022 I'm totally diggin's these hair masks at the moment & my hair is LOVIN' them! The look of my hair has improved 100% & I have some good re-growth coming through (which are all greys! haha) I've been doing the masks twice a week now for a few weeks & will keep this up through winter! I lather the oil in first thing in the morning & leave in all day - so it gets a good soaking.... Does Your hair need some Love? If so, try using castor oil, olive oil or macadamia oil - and if you have some oils, throw them in as well. I like using geranium, rosemary, tea tree & lavendar. Your hair will LOVE you for it See more

02.01.2022 We rescued a puppy dog - Asti Well, she isn’t really a puppy - she is 5 years old! She had been in foster care for over 18 months & they had been having trouble trying to find a suitable home for her... until Farmer Ken (AKA Dad) found her We picked her up on Saturday & she knew something was happening, she was shaking & unsettled. It was touch & go with settling her, until I remembered my oils! ... I ran to the car and grabbed my doTERRA Essential Oils Australia Lavender oil! I knew her foster mum didn’t use oils, therefore Asti wasn’t use to them - so I just dapped some oil on my wrists & in my hands. I went over to her, rubbed her body with my hands & wrists - within minutes she calmed right down Honestly, I wasn’t sure it would work on her, but man - I was impressed! Even Farmer Ken was like Gee that oil really worked! She is now settled in with us & loving life with a massive deck to sunbake on, multiple beach walks & swims per day, endless cuddles & pats - plus all the treats Anywho, Moral of the story - Lavender is ALWAYS good to have on hand!
