25.01.2022 Welcome to my page... here’s a little bit about why it’s here...

18.01.2022 Can you spot the fuck up? This little bartender faux pas would not exactly stop a bar shift in its tracks, but after a couple of years making drinks for people I should be a lot better... But this little mistake did NOT warrant the 2minute (accurate) tirade I gave myself for cutting a lime wrong! ... You fuckin dumb piece of shit, you’re not worth shit as a bloke, how can you mess that up... you used to get paid to do this FFS! And so on... Point is... I eventually stopped that little voice in my head in it’s tracks THIS time, and reminded myself that everyone makes mistakes and there are plenty more limes to have a crack at until I get it right..... and we’ll put the fat ass slice in the Gin & Tonics later on, and no-one will know the difference! So.... to help you have a happy Christmas, here’s a little reminder to be nice to yourself this festive season, especially with the small stuff! If you drop a glass, mess up a recipe or get someone a gift they already have.... forgive yourself ASAP, and let it go. Chances are it isn’t a big deal, and the quicker you can forgive yourself, the sooner you can get back to enjoying some quality time with friends and family!!
