23.01.2022 Cut-Out Frenzy - results from a @diujdi Skillshare Class I did today. Really enjoyed cutting out all this shapes without thinking about the end result. Now to clean up all the bits of paper everywhere in my artroom
22.01.2022 Oh 2020! how nice would it be to be able to travel to a tropical island. Swim, surf with the occasional cocktail in the afternoon. Maybe this should be renamed Tropics on a surfboard

18.01.2022 I thought I would show a WIP. I’ve finally finished centre and have offset ‘Floral flourish’ in Affinity Photo and now back in procreate filling in the spaces. Keen to see this repeat when it’s finished.
16.01.2022 Vintage Baubles A coordinate using one of the baubles to create a busy geometric design. And ANOTHER MOCK UP, I just can’t help myself! I love how the results at times surprise me. When I see the design on a product to what I thought would be a sure thing, I can feel sometimes underwhelmed. Other times I put it on something that I don’t think will work well and it does! Well that’s how I feel about this packaging. I can see it in David Jones food hall at Christmas packed to the brim with Christmas goodies...yum

16.01.2022 I allowed myself a day of indulgence and just played! This is the result of taking two great Skillshare classes about creating colour palettes and blending them together. Pretty amazing to think all these designs (and trust me there were many more!) came from one me picking just one colour I liked. I applied it to my recent Floral Sunrise design in Illustrator. @ Sydney, Australia

15.01.2022 I need to share this beautiful charcuterie board from @djl.woodworks. Daniel has just started to sell his work and it’s incredible. It was a spontaneous purchase from seeing a post on facebook and I’m so glad I did. On the table it looks like a river rushing through a deep gorge and when I hold it up to the light it looks like an Arazona landscape. Isn’t it mesmerising! 15.01.2022 Finished sewing my very first Sashiko project. Actually I gave the kit to my daughter as a Christmas stocking filler..but she was never going to do it! hand sewing this pattern was thoroughly enjoyable, very meditative. Always feels good to create something @sewingwithkate #slowsewing #sashiko

06.01.2022 Santa collection - Just ask my kids I’m the biggest Grinch around. So I’m super happy and surprised with how Santa and his friends turned out.
