24.01.2022 Kalsu is a CrossFit Hero Workout (we did it last Friday) It could be one of the most challenging hero workouts of all time - Its 100x 60/40kg thrusters for time that includes an EMOM of 5 burpees (meaning every minute you have to stop what youre doing and perform 5 burpees) then get back to work, chipping away at your 100 thrusters?! 16.01.2022 Due to the bushfires, smoke and subsequent hazardous air quality, we have decided to cancel all of tomorrows scheduled sessions The plan is to be open on Friday, but well be playing this by ear. The gym is currently filled with smoke and while Fridays session is strength focused, the level of smoke in the gym is currently unsafe and has the potential to cause future respiratory issues... I usually get around to taking some video footage on Thursday morning (for next week's workout explanations) but for some reason, Thursday and Friday really got away from me I'm not sure if if was due to training or my schedule but I made the decision not to take the videos - I decided that it would be better for my mental health to take a week off making videos I'm sorry if you feel let down but I'm sure you understand ;)... 03.01.2022 I’m actually feeling pretty determined for the year ahead I’ve done a fair bit of thinking about what I want out of 2021 and I’ve written down a list (I love lists) There’s still a lot of fear and uncertainty around as no one really knows what’s gonna happen as far as COVID goes Fear, anxiety and depression come from uncertainty can I go and see my family? or is the border going to be closed with a moments notice and/or the threat of 2 week quarantine?!...
