21.01.2022 On 22 September 2017 commencing at 6.30pm we have been able to arrange for an officer from DPI NSW to come to Brisbane and conduct the Waterfowl Identification Test. The test will be held at the Belmont, however the exact location is yet to be determined. Everyone who hunts or wants to hunt native game birds in NSW needs to hold a NSW Game Hunting Licence. They must also pass a test about identifying different waterfowl species before they can take part in the program. The ...cost of the test is $50 and any member who wishes to attend must complete a registration document and return to DPI as soon as possible. Payment can be made directly on the night. The success of this program is dependant on the number of people we can get to attend this night. Prior to sitting the test, it is VERY important that the WIT video is watched. This video is available on line. If you are unable to watch the video, which goes for approximately 1 hour prior to the night, you will not pass the test. If you want to attend the WIT, please send an email to Greg McAndrew at [email protected] asap. We need to confirm minimum numbers to make sure the test goes ahead. https://youtu.be/AMcZchDuJbI
