25.01.2022 Dirty zone within my exam cubicle ----------------------------- When you define your contaminated zone at the beginning of the exam you have to make sure that ...you can keep individual items in this area like a single wedges ,single amalgam capsule, strip, flowable composite with gun . The dental unit bracket table is a dirty zone but it is better to keep it looking neat without cluttered material and instrument.so you can define another dirty zone on the bench top to keep all your tasks materials. Do you know why lots of candidates, even the most capable ones, are failing the infection control task during the practical exam? This happens simply because most candidates do not practice infection control while preparing for the exam or they take it lightly. That is why they face an additional amount of stress during the days of the exam. They feel unsure what to do in order not to breach the infection control during the radio task or the composite filling task. That is why we dedicated 2 months of hard work and focused on every detail related to infection control within the exam environment we shrunk the amount of hassle that you would notice when you wanna read any infection control resource that took you into types of diseases, viruses, vaccinations and other blah blah stuff... without getting key info out of its thickness. The ADC Online Help's new 'Infection Control Measures' guide has the most important titles that could make a difference for you.Prepared smartly to help you read it and review it easily with key info colour coded. Below is a glimpse from inside the guide. 20.01.2022 This bulletin introduces the essential companion for dental radiology task success! It is a basic, comprehensive solution that will help you link theory and technique to promote the mastery of clinical skills necessary for professional practice success. I wrote this after joining one of well-known, hands-on radiology courses. It was a big disappointment for me to find out that the course missed lots of basic aspects.... My success in this task is owned solely to my own efforts, that I am sharing with you in this bulletin.

20.01.2022 Why lots of candidates underestimate the study of basic teeth anatomy while preparing for the practical exam?! A/ That is there problem.Look when you face such kind of cavities that looks like gonna punch you,do you think it will be a piece of cake to know the exact position of grooves, cusps tips, triangular ridges, general tooth contour, position and size of contacts??? I can assure you, it is not easy ,that is why I gave a specific attention to teeth anatomy within my lectures about amalgam restoration task and that is why this task consists of more than one file.

14.01.2022 A sum up for those who are either new to ADC exam or already in the process but do not know about it, Be patient and read till the end!!! Stages of ADC exam -Before 2014 -2014-2018 -2018 onward... -Before 2014 they were welcoming dentists into Australia, therefore, practical exam scoring was not that rigorous and if you fail some tasks you can sit a supplementary test to re-do those tasks only, the caught was in the week-long examination process. -2014-2018 A bloody new pattern has been introduced consist of MCQ and clinical judgment questions for the written and new tough scoring system for the practical exam. For example, if a task has 3 criteria to be scored and within each criterion, there are 4 scoring areas, let us say you get 3b and 1c then by magical unfairness the whole score bounce down to C so Imagineer who tough it was to pass a task! -2018 onward They eased the tie on the technical scoring system so some can pass a task but it can be a low score or high score pass nobody know! But they added OSCE stations which require kind of reviewing TG, Odell, past OSCE, and whatever matter to a modern dental practice in Australia

06.01.2022 Dental Treatment options for patients with confirmed or suspected of corona virus infection: Dentists are advised to delay elective treatment of any patient who is actively infected, suspected of infection, has been in contact with an infected person or who is serving a self-isolation period. When actively infected, viral loads in oral fluids are high, meaning that dental treatments are hazardous to staff and other patients because of the generation of droplets and aeroso...ls during dental care. The provision of dental treatments necessitates the need for airborne transmission based precautions, which cannot be safely provided in general dental practice due to the need for a negative pressure room. WHO does not recommend that asymptomatic individuals (i.e., who do not have respiratory symptoms) in the community should wear medical masks, as currently there is no evidence that routine use of medical masks by healthy individuals prevents 2019-nCoV transmission Dentists are advised to delay elective treatment of any patient who is actively infected, suspected of infection, has been in contact with an infected person or who is serving a self-isolation period.
