24.01.2022 I arrived at the salon this afternoon to finish setting up to reopen tomorrow. I unlocked the salon to find a envelope had been placed underneath the front door. To whoever has delivered this, please know you haven’t just made my day- you have made my week. Thoughtfulness goes along way. 23.01.2022 Dear valued clients, As a small business owner I have made the decision to close both salons indefinitely, effective from today. As a award we fall under Hair & Beauty and the fact we have been expected to still trade as normal while Beauty therapist have been deemed non essential is hard to fathom. Although the government hasn’t back this decision as yet, my staffs safety means more to me then the financial burden. Money will never buy time. I feel heart broken but I... also know the value and strength of my team- we will bounce back stronger then ever. My team are my family and the well-being of them is my main focus at this point. Thank you to our clients-stay safe and be kind. To leave on a positive note, as of Sunday Immy will complete her apprenticeship and return when we reopen as a qualified senior. 20.01.2022 A friendly update to all our valued clients. As our country changes it laws, we are tightening our policies in the salon. Due to rising cases of COVID19 we ask that ANY client that has an appointment that falls within 14 days of themselves or a household member travelling from Sydney, Newcastle, Maitland, surrounding areas OR any location deemed as a hotspot that you please reschedule your appointment. We are taking every precaution we can to maintain a healthy work environment and we ask for your respect and honesty to ensure the safety of our staff and other clients. As part of Addicted To Hair’s COVID SAFE PLAN- no exceptions will be made.

15.01.2022 For the safety of my staff and clients I ask that if you or any family members have been in the Northern Beaches area in the last week you reschedule your appointment. The Northern Beaches has been now deemed a hot spot. Complying with Addicted To Hairs COVID safety plan I will not be allowing anyone who has been in a hot spot to enter the salon. 13.01.2022 Our talented apprentice Immy is almost ready to fly the cope into being a fully qualified senior hairdresser. With only 2 weeks to go until completion, it’s time for some fine tuning and final training. We are offering $20 ladies short haircuts with Immy on Tuesday 10th March between 12-2.30pm Bookings are necessary and must fit the criteria of a short hair style. As this will be used as a training afternoon please allow a little extra time and it’s compulsory to bring your patience. 67426667

10.01.2022 Dear valued, regular clients, Due to the new policies released tonight-as of close of business tomorrow we will no longer be able to carry out any colour services due to ScoMo’s in salon 30 min policy. Tomorrow will be your last chance to have ANY colour service done indefinitely. Sadly, it will be first in, best dressed. We will try our best to have as many hands on deck as possible. We take this time to thank everyone for pre booking their appointments and helping us to be organised leading into the silly season. As the Christmas rush approaches us please be advised that you are required to confirm your appointment via the automated text message you receive 24 hours prior to your appointment. Any unconfirmed appointments will be automatically cancelled. We are also implementing changes to any client that arrives more then 10 minutes late for their appointment. It will then be at the discretion of the stylist as to if the appointment will proceed or be cancelled. 08.01.2022 It’s a sad day when I have to write this. ANY form of abuse within my salons will not be tolerated. Your appointment will be cancelled on the spot and you will be asked not to return to either salon for any future appointments. My staff do not come to work to be your emotional punching bag. Please keep in mind we are here to provide you a service but we are not your servants. We are human beings, we are someone’s daughter, wife, mother and friend. We deserve to be treated ...with respect. Bad attitude and verbal abuse is not welcome in my salons. I value the hard work my staff do to try to accommodate clients but unfortunately it has come to the point where issues are arising and is causing a negative impact on my staff and myself. I won’t stand for it. If you feel you cannot treat us with respect I strongly suggest you find your self a new salon where your money means more than your attitude. 07.01.2022 Our aim is to keep our clients as updated as possible throughout this concerning time. At the moment the salon is still in full swing and offering the same great services as always. All Hair and Beauty industries to date are classified as stage 1. This is allowing us to fully operate with exceptional hygiene and social distancing of clients. 02.01.2022 Addicted to Hair: Covid-19 UPDATE At Addicted to Hair we take the safety of our clients extremely seriously and as such we ask to please respect our new updated regulations regarding the current Covid-19 pandemic. We ask our clients to please reschedule if they: are unwell or have a cold... have a fever a cough have travelled internationally in the past 21 days or have come in contact with someone who has a positive result for Covid-19 If you arrive with any of these symptoms your appointments will be canceled and rescheduled for a later time . This is for the safety of our team . In the case of social distancing we are doing all we can to protect staff, their families and our amazing clients and ask that you please only arrive 10minutes early to an appointment and wait outside until our staff call you in. This will help us in disinfecting after every client and ensure we are doing our part to slow the spread. We also ask that our clients come into salon alone. This means no children or friends simply watching services being performed. We no longer have toys available to keep children preoccupied or magazines available as we are trying to limit the surfaces that this virus can be spread via. On entry please use our hand sanitizer available on the front counter. We will keep all our clients up to date on any future updates and will be in contact if a closure is issued. We value each and everyone of you. As the world has changed, so have our policies and procedures to be able to trade. Following our given guidelines our appointments will be limited and spaced out throughout the day. Please understand we are limited to the number of clients we can have in the salon at one time. Pl...ease be advised that for our regulations to run smoothly any client that is LATE for their appointment will be automatically cancelled out- our time management needs to be on point. When arriving for your appointment you are asked to wait outside and a staff member will attend to you as soon as possible. On entering the salon you will be asked to fill out a short form- guaranteeing us that you have no symptoms or are unwell in any way. My staff’s safety is my main priority.
