20.01.2022 Additive have had a busy end of the year topped off with a purchase of an MA Lighting International MA3 Compact XT, as well as one of the first MA3 command wing...s into Australia from Show Technology. ADDITIVE is a design and technical production house made up of three friends and long time collaborators who want to see your project evolve and succeed. They recently moved into new offices and at the same time launched their new previsualization studio. We wanted a space where we can spend time exploring and developing a production before it bumps into a space commented Tom Wright. Being able to use two separate set ups, both running a multitude of software (MA3D, L8 and WYSIWYG), in a large inviting space was a real plus for us. We can easily show clients and artists what we are intending on doing in comfort, whilst also being able to prep two shows concurrently without running out of physical and console space. Now, with the MA3 hardware, we can do so on the latest platform, with a desk that we can easily move with us to the venue. The studio is available to hire as a standalone space to any LDs who want time to refine their ideas. Either they bring their own console and viz computer or hire ours. At the other extreme ADDITIVE offer a full service where they will take your idea and create a full plan set and a working model ready for you to just turn up and program. Owning the desk was the next logical step for us and will aid in taking a show from development right though to opening night. And now we can spend time exploring and developing a production in our new studio before it transitions into the real world.... We use the latest technology in 3d visualisation (MA3D, L8 and WYSIWYG), plus having a stock of lighting consoles and media servers, allows us to maximise our time in a comfortable and client-friendly space. The space is rentable and Additive staff are on hand to give as little or as much support and advice you require. We also offer a full tailored service, taking your show from concept and producing a fully modelled production, ready for you to just turn up and program.
