10.01.2022 Last week we had $100,000 of conference and events orders cancelled. (Ouch! Pain all round!) On a gloomy Friday we asked what do people need? This week we sourced express hand sanitisers available in two weeks and have been overwhelmed with enquiries. It would be easy at a time like this to put big margins on these items to make up for lost sales due to COVID-19, but to us as small business that cares about our staff and wider community this would be morally reprehensible.... Instead we plan on sourcing and selling as many urgent personal protection supplies as required, using our existing supplier and freight networks and only covering our cost of doing business, ie. enough to keep our wonderful loyal staff in jobs, pay the rent and pay the bills. We will try and help all customers, but priority for these orders will go to people in the health industry, disability sector and those that work with vulnerable people. In a time like this we all need to do our best to support each other through these scary times. Tell us what supplies you need to keep your service or business running. We will try and source them through our reputable suppliers. We want Australia and Australian’s to be safe and healthy and use this experience as a way to build a better community around us. If business gets slower for us over the next few months as anticipated, we’ll have a bit more spare time on our hands and will be looking into more ways we can give back to this lovely country.

You know the Drill: Wash your hands often If you share a phone or a computer keyboard, or touch public door handles, and put your hands near your face, the virus could enter your mouth or nose. Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds using soap and water is best for cleaning cold viruses off your hands. If you don't have access to soap and water, consider carrying an alcohol-based hand cleaner with you.... Use tissues, then toss them Don't stuff used tissues back in your pocket. Throw them in a bin. Avoid contact Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home if you are sick to prevent spreading your illness. When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, or cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve *. Get vaccinated.
