20.01.2022 Our team respects diversity in the workplace and with the organisations we work with. Today Darren reflected on the needs of the group and the importance of having to step away. He has been on Uni placement for a number of weeks and as his cycling instructor I praise his professional conduct demonstrated recently. Permission was requested from organisers prior to the start of the program and ladies were also informed. As a team we adapt to the environment around us to provide the most enjoyable experience for all.

06.01.2022 Looking to Volunteer Have a passion for recycling, art or just want to meetup with like minded people to learn something new. There is an opportunity to volunteer and gain skills in basic bike maintenance through a Recycled Art Sculpture Project that Parramatta Bike Hub is working on.... The Hub Space has a new team member who works weekends while Charlene is out leading rides. Meet Joe the Bike Repair Program Coordinator Joe has years of experience in management and training, gained trade qualification in automotive mechanics as well as transport and distribution. He is also keen in supporting the growth of projects such as the Bike Repair Program in support of Youth at Risk. Sunday for now is opened for scheduled working bees in a Covid friendly way. Volunteer places are limited for shorten sessions with cleaning time between each one. Book your place today! 04.01.2022 Sun is out = bike is out. student’s at Toongabbie Public School did not let the heat stop them from gaining more riding skills and having fun with their friends. Fridays session focussed on slowing down and perfecting our turning and braking skills. We made sure we were all filled with energy by taking water breaks and staying in the shade, students were also using one another’s encouragement for energy and motivation. Riding skills that improve social connections.
