Remember, not everyone has earned the right to have access to you. That is reserved for people who demonstrate they can be trusted. When we share too much too early, we are often left heartbroken and let d...own because we bared so much of ourselves and they rejected/abandoned/ghosted us. We continue to validate our unworthiness by living in it. By not being strategic with our vulnerability and our pain. Our story is still running our lives... and it can feel like a repeating cycle. Why? Because we keep repeating the same pattern. It's time to shift. Hold onto your vulnerability and check in with yourself constantly in the dating process... "Do they have the right to this? I have some exciting things to share on 8/8. .... Being divinely inspired and intuitively led in the moment into aligned action based on receptivity, connection, fluidity, awareness, compassion, full surrender and presence - works better for me than following a script of performative spirituality and doing the right thing. . The goal of shadow work is to get in touch with your repressed self. The goal is not perfection but wholeness. That means finding a healthy, authentic expression for characteristics that society deems inappropriate such as aggression and anger as well as joy and bliss. . There is this unintegrated idea that any sort of expression of the qualities society judges inappropriate are all coming from the same place. This could not be further from truth. For example, Repressed anger has an entirely different quality and effect than healthy anger and wrathful wisdom. . People believe the goal in being perfect is to never express these feelings or emotions. This is not the goal of shadow work. Again it is to get in touch with them so you bring them in to the light rather then acting out. NOT that you become passive aggressive and frail. . Friedrich Nietzsche said, Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws. . In the same vein those who repress joy and bliss believe they are helping others but they are not. They don’t want to share these characteristics from fear of them being seen as ‘toxic positivity’. Again remember the goal is wholeness and authenticity, not performing goodness. . For anyone with any sort of intuitive awarness it’s actually very easy to discern the difference between someone genuinely joyful, loving and light hearted as opposed to someone who is quite repressed but pushing positivity. .
