11.01.2022 Important update re games missed due to COVID-19 Lockdown The ACC last night met to decide on how to best manage the recent situation where two weeks of games in November were lost due to the State Government's COVID lockdown. We have considered the current SA Health advice, and also taken feedback from all clubs, as well as the SA Umpires Association. We understand that players, officials, parents, volunteers and umpires are keen to have some level of certainty as we head i...nto the summer break. Based on all of this, the ACC has confirmed the following: * All lost A Grade games will be replayed. * All other grades (seniors and juniors) have been declared nil-all draws and will not be replayed. We will provide more information and an updated draw as soon as possible. However, as part of the juggle of the draw to try to get as many games in as possible, there will now be senior and junior games played at West Beach on Saturday, 19 December (please note: this was the weekend originally set aside for the Junior State Championships, which have since been cancelled). Please refer to the online draw for a revised fixtures. There will also be no games on Wednesday, 23 December. There was a lot of discussion around this decision, but for the health, safety and welfare of players, umpires and team officials, it was decided that to make up extra games with double headers and extra night games was not the best outcome during a challenging year where there is already a lot of uncertainty and stress on families. More information will be available shortly. A reminder also: Team managers must ensure players, officials, parents and spectators do the COVID check in at West Beach.
