25.01.2022 After a long wait we are ready to start judo training! So welcome back, please note that we have Covid-19 safety measures in place that we expect everyone to respect and follow. On Sunday (19th July) we have a busy bee in the Mt Barker Scout Hall at 11AM to clean and repair the judo mats. Everyone is invited to attend, please let me know if you intend to come and help so we can control social distancing rules. On Monday (20th July) we will be starting a bit later than usua...l so the Joeys can leave the Hall unobstructed by us waiting out the front. Tuesday (21th July) the junior and beginners will start at 6 PM. Parents of children 10 years and under are please asked to stay and help the coach to supervise their children with their Covid-19 hygiene requirements, especially when the step off the training area.

24.01.2022 We are very pleased to say that we can start training on Monday 20th July, we will delay our start to 7:30 pm as the Joeys must have all exited the hall before we can enter. If you wish to arrive at 07:15 pm to assist with mats that will be fine but there will be no entry to the hall until all the Joeys have left. For ourTuesday evening our start time will be at 6:30PM for Beginners and Juniors. Because Covid-19 is still a concern so we are taking measures to keep everyon...e safe and meet government restrictions. We have lodged a COVID 19 Plan and are required to adhere to that Plan. All people stepping on the mat for training must complete the Covid-19 medical form. Please note that anyone showing symptoms of Covid-19 will not be allowed to train, so please dont come to the hall unless you can show evidence that you have been tested for Covid-19 and are out of the isolation period. We will have hand sanitiser and the mats will be cleaned after every training session. Safe distancing for parents and guests plus masks are not compulsory but encouraged. There will be other safety measures applicable to the hall in general such as wiping any surfaces for example if you use the change rooms please wipe any surfaces you touch. We ask the parents to please supervise their children off the mat area as the coach cant watch everyone.

21.01.2022 JUNIOR JUDO PLAYERS The Adelaide Hills Judo Club kicked off on the last term for 2020. What a large turn out! I will have to wear my ear muffs next week, or maybe less games and more throwing practice. Big thank you to the parents for helping with the mats. Thanks Ben and Yvi for helping with herding the children, they were full of energy this evening first day back after holidays.
