10.01.2022 Dear Parishioners, As follow are the announcements of the coming events for next two weeks: Thursday, 30 August, feast of BLSD BR ESTEPHAN NEHME, which will be transferred to Sunday 2nd September.... Saturday, 1st September, feast of SAINT SIMEON STYLITES. The evening mass, 6:30pm, will be offered for the rest of the soul of late SHAMEL SIMON CHAHINE (89 yo) who passed away in Lebanon; He is the father of Sonia, wife of Joe Chaina. Sunday, 2nd September, the celebration of the feast of BLSD BR ESTEPHAN NEHME. As it is the FATHER’S DAY, therefore the masses will be offered for all the fathers of our parish, the living and the departed, and everyone is invited to share us these masses. During the masses of 1st & 2nd September, the second collection will be collected to support the farmers through the Drought Appeal for the Maronite Diocese of Australia. Saturday, 8 September, feast day of the BIRTH OF OUR LADY, which will be transferred to Sunday 9 September. CHILDREN’S FUN DAY: THE JUNIORS OF THE NIGHTS OF MARY FERSEN AL ADRA, invite all the children up to 11 years, for a Fun Day which will include games, sausage sizzles and sweets. They also invite all the teens up to 15 years to come, help and share with this community event from 11:00am till 01:30pm. Entrance fee is $10 per child. Sunday, 9 September, celebration of the Birth of Our Lady. The morning mass, 10:30am, is a 40 day mass for the repose of late MARCELLE ELIAS, sister of Zahia Moubarak. Friday, 14 September, feast of THE EXALTATION OF THE GLORIOUS CROSS, which will be transferred to Saturday and Sunday 15 and 16 September. Saturday, 15 September, a traditional celebration on the VIGIL of the feast of THE EXALTATION OF THE GLORIOUS CROSS after the evening mass at 6:30pm: Bonfire, Marshmallow on sticks, BBQ and sweets. Sunday, 16 September, Celebration of the feast of Exaltation of the Glorious Cross, and during the morning mass (10:30am) we’ll celebrate the RITE OF THE BLESSING OF WATER. >>>PLEASE SHARE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW<<< God bless you all.
