25.01.2022 ** Club Announcement ** The club would like to announce with great excitement the appointment of Jared Wilson who will be taking on the role of Head Coach for ...2021. Jared is no stranger to the Red, Gold and Blue and it is with great pleasure we welcome Jared back to his grass roots to take on a new and exciting venture. Jared grew up in the club and has been a massive influence in the clubs past success with Captaining and Coaching Club Premierships. Jared’s appointment has been a process over the last few week with Club President Anthony Williams and Head of Football Harry Taylor meeting with Jared. Anthony and Harry have both said they are looking forward to having Jared’s knowledge and energy back in the club and looking forward the 2021 season. Jared will organise a time to meet with the players in a few weeks but please join us now in congratulating and welcoming Jared in his new appointment. HWEFC President Anthony Williams

18.01.2022 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT Mallala Football Club Inc. - Adelaide Plains Football League Liam Whitwell... The Mallala Football Club is pleased to announce with great excitement the appointment of Liam Whitwell who has taken the role of A Grade coach for 2021. Whitty is no stranger to the Mallala Football Club having played key roles in our club's past successes as a player between 2005-2016. After coming to Mallala from Kimba in 2005, he played in five A Grade premierships, including three as captain, won several A Grade Best and Fairest awards and is a dual APFL Mail Medalist. In 2017, Whitty was appointed Head Coach at the BSR Tigers in the NEFL and subsequently led that club to A Grade premierships in 2017, 2018 and 2020. Whitty's leadership qualities and coaching capabilities will be an enormous asset to our football club over the coming years. A time to meet with the players and supporters will be arrange in the next few weeks but please join us in congratulating and welcoming Liam, his wife Clare and boys Percy and Reggie back to the footy club. Go the mighty magpies!

07.01.2022 Presentations were done Saturday night, In the A grade it was a tie for Best & Fairest between Benny Russell & Tyrone Milera, Runner up was Hayden Ingram, Best ...team man was Ryan Howson, leading goal kicker was Brendon Niklaus In the B grade best and Fairest was Robbie Desmond, runner up was Domenic Musolino, best team man was Ben Farrugia, leading goal kicker was Ryan Creek.
