10.01.2022 Dear Cabaret Fringe community, With heavy hearts, owing to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic response, the board of Adelaide’s annual Cabaret Fringe Festival have resolved to cancel the 2020 event. Our tiny fledgling volunteer-driven organisation is simply too small to take such a risk. We are following the example of the rest of the sector, and of course the advice of our Government and health experts. ... Any registration fees already paid will be refunded, and the board will regroup and engage with artists, venue operators and event producers, Arts South Australia and the SA Government with a view to emerge in 2021 event-ready and stronger. Times are uncertain, but we are a resilient community, and together we will emerge to share the stories. Stay strong - and be kind to one another! Take care, The Cabaret Fringe Inc Board
