Here in Australia Yueqi completed her bachelor’s degree in Classical guitar performance under the direction of Oliver Fartach-Naini at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. She has... won the 3rd prize in the Open Age Category of the 2016 Adelaide Eisteddfod Guitar Competition. Yueqi has been fortunate to have had masterclasses with Richard Charlton, Song-ou Lee, Raffaele Agostino, Leonardo Bravo, Kwangsu Bai, Ken Murray, Jose Maria Gallardo de Rey. She had solo performance as part of the Guitarissimo concert series every year since 2015 and she is also a member of the Elder Conservatorium Guitar Ensemble and have had good concerts in the Adelaide Guitar Festival in 2016 and 2018, as well as in the South Korea International Guitar Festival in 2017 and also had solo performance in Tongyeong. Yueqi has had extensive teaching experience with pupils whose ages range from young children to adults. She has successfully tutored Classical Guitar beginners, and those studying for the Australia Music Examination Board, as well as in professional masterclasses. Yueqi is proficient in Mandarin and English.
