The event was at...tended by the Board of Masonic Charities Trust, His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia and Patron of Masonic Charities, The Honourable Vincent Tarzia MP, Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services, Chief Inspector Joanne Barnes and other invited guests. 04.01.2022 The Luhrs range of boats where built with the serious fisherman in mind. This 2008 Luhrs 31 'Day Off' has gone far beyond the original concept with a long list of upgrades specifically geared toward true offshore fishing. LOA is 34 feet but don't let that fool you, these are a massive boat for their advertised size and have that gorgeous Carolina flared bow for serious offshore work. Running dual Volvo IPS drives and an updated joystick manoeuvrability is easy and fuel econom...y is great. But where this boat truly shines is in the impeccable SIMRAD electronics packages and the wiring behind the scenes. Not a cent was spared making sure not only the right gear was fitted, but fitted well. Dual 16'' NSO SIMRAD touch screens, separate back up SIMRAD Auto pilot, SIMRAD Radar, VHF, Thermal forward facing camera (FLIR), SIMRAD GPS antenna, the list just goes on and on, all documentation on all the electronics and the installations are available along with service history. 02.01.2022 We were extremely fortunate to be able to hold our 151st Opening Day on Saturday, and to have his Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC announce the opening ...of the 2020/21 season. While Covid meant we had to reduce our number of invited guests, we were delighted that so many were able to join us on what was a wonderful day here at the Squadron. Thanks to our Flag Officers, Committees, staff and volunteers for their assistance, and most importantly to our members. We would not be the club we are without you!
