25.01.2022 I'm doing my best to keep up!!! Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns about your booking with me! I am more than happy to chat about making those original plans work or look at back-up options, alternatives, and plan b's. This time isn't easy for anyone but I've got your back!! It may not be the way you imagined your wedding, but we will work together and make sure it is bloody amazing (and think of the stories you will have to tell your grandkids )

23.01.2022 Record breaking cold snap in the middle of a global pandemic... no matter! This is how to get married and have an amazing time doing it! Jess and Charles were married on Friday, glasses in hand, with the help of Our Wild Love Elopements and their closest family and friends watching on. Really looking forward to all of the elopements coming up in the next couple of moths, and sharing in the love and happiness that the world needs right now!... 20.01.2022 I have received a number of calls and emails today regarding COVID-19 and weddings, and I would love to say it's business as usual, but what's happening in the world right now is anything but usual. I can however say that at this stage I WILL NOT BE SHUTTING DOWN OR CANCELLING BOOKINGS (just moving forward with less hugs and handshakes, and more hand washing). In the spirit of 'flattening the curve' and social distancing though, I won't be booking any non-essential face-to-fa...ce meetings over the next few weeks. FaceTime, Skype, phone... I'm all yours! And as for your rehearsal and your wedding... if you're booked in, I will be there, and if something happens and I have to isolate, then I have back-up plans and a whole tribe of amazing celebrants who can jump in and make sure you can still be married with as little disruption as possible. If you make the decision to postpone, I will accommodate this too. I also need to ask for your understanding... Your wedding is very important to me, but I am only human, I have 2 children and am a Mum and wife first. On days such as today, it's a juggle for me. I have my eldest at home with a sniffle, unable to drop her at school and leaving me unable to attend my planned meetings. This is a time when the school and me as a parent have to be careful and take extra precautions. On a normal day she probably would still be at school, but as things are, we can't risk it. So... all of that being said... if you're not sure, if you have any concerns or are worried about your plans, just talk to me!! Phones on, emails are up, and I am always happy to chat through your options

15.01.2022 It's that time of year again... My 7 year old is well into Valentine's Day card making and while she was very clear that I can't share the part with her boyfriends name on it she was very proud of her poem Happy Valentine's everyone!

14.01.2022 A collective of Australian wedding vendors is working together to make a recovery plan for once this COVID-19 nightmare is over. . So many couples are not goin...g to have their weddings go ahead and we get it- its devastating. And surreal. . One way we are proposing to help couples get married and sustain our small businesses is to ask couples to consider postponing their weddings to day other than Friday or Saturday. . Popular vendors are booked out 12-18 months ahead and we simply do not have the capacity to move postponed couples into Saturday spots next year. . Please consider thinking outside the square, challenging age old traditions - and rolling your wedding, with your selected team of awesome vendors across to a weekday. . A Thursday wedding has a great vibe. People have the day off the following day and then the entire weekend also. . You can have the cracking wedding you planned for with the same crew- on a new day. . You support our businesses, do not have to rebook new vendors and many of us are offering a direct transfer of fees already paid to a weekday date. . Same team, minimal loss of cash. . I have to date rescheduled eight couples to a Thursday. Together we will get you wed, in a huggy, kissy, packed dance floor kinda way and well give the finger to tradition whilst were at it. . . . #weekdayweddingsareatotalvibe #australianweddingrecoveryplan #covid_19 #postponedontcancel

11.01.2022 Saskia & Brett 7th February 2020 An intimate and low fuss elopement by the beach with their two young boys and closest family & friends. 10.01.2022 Picnic wedding, by the beach, with just closest friends and family. A beautiful heartfelt wedding, no frills necessary. The perfect day. Thank you Saskia and Brett for asking me to be a part of such an intimate and special celebration. Little Car Photography for Our Wild Love Elopements
10.01.2022 We love this so much... "When my Nana was put on hospice, the nurse asked her what her goals were. She replied that she wanted to be at my wedding. They rel...uctantly told her they didn't want her flying anymore (she was nearly 103 years old) and her heart was failing. I knew in my heart she was trying to hang on to get there somehow. I decided to fly to her with my wedding dress, it was unaltered and didn't fit yet but none of that mattered. I may have lied to my entire family about where I was that weekend, and I didn't tell my friends so I could surprise everyone with these photos. Words cannot explain how much these moments mean to me and I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life. Her smile and her laugh are forever etched in my mind and the love between us will live in my heart. This was one of the greatest days of my life. When I said goodbye to her that night, I think we both knew it would be the last time we would see each other. She grabbed my cheeks with her hands, looked me straight in the eye and said "I love you very much" and 27 days later she passed away. I am so blessed to have this be my last memory with her. She was beyond an amazing woman! I love you Nana, always and forever!" Photography: Red Door Photography Makeup Artist: MW Makeup Artistry

05.01.2022 LUCY & EMMA 26th January 2020 Lucy and Emma admit that its pretty gross how much they want to be around each other, every moment apart spent counting down until the time they can be together again, So beautifully and disgustingly in love, saying the same thing at the same time, finishing each others sentences, sharing entire conversations with a single look in love ... It was incredibly special (and a whole lot of fun) to be a part of the moment they surprised their family and friends and said their 'I do's' at their engagement party. See more
05.01.2022 It's no secret that 2020 has been a tricky year... BUT I still managed to get 60 couples married, performed my 400th wedding somewhere in there, picked up a new hobby in my forced time off and learnt that despite challenges way out of anyone's control, my business can adapt and work through it! I would love to think that there could be some magic calm and contentment that washes over the world when the clock ticks over at midnight, but for now, let's just hope things get a l...ittle less bumpy and we can go in with the confidence that whatever 2021 throws our way, we've got this!! Happy New Year everyone <3
04.01.2022 STILL MAKING MARRIAGES And it is so very easy when I have clients like these <3 This day could not have been more perfect Congrats again Gabby and Andy xxx
04.01.2022 I hate that I have to post this... but pretty, pretty please don't ask your celebrant to break the rules that are now in place for weddings. 5 people means 5 people... not 5 people plus the photographer (but your photographer can definitely be your witness!), not 5 people plus your kids, not 5 people plus 10 family members "who just happen to turn up at the same place at the same time". JUST... 5... PEOPLE.... As celebrants we have a responsibility to make sure all legal requirements for a marriage are met so the validity never comes into question. Please don't ask us to mess with that. We are all doing our best to accommodate couples and be sure they are married in the most beautiful way that we can manage in these tricky times. Your wedding is important to us too! Please understand and please be kind And getting married with just 5 people can be utterly amazing. Check out Liana and Joel's at home, just 5 people (and 2 dogs...) marriage! https://ourwildloveelopements.com//elopement-at-home-with-

03.01.2022 So excited to be getting some guests at weddings again! Before inviting along your guests be sure to check out the Directives at https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/emergency-declarations At the moment, you can have 11 people in total; the couple, Celebrant and 8 others. ... Baby steps!
02.01.2022 One of those last 'normal' weddings before the world went into lockdown and the very beginning of a nourishing marriage filled with unwavering commitment, fun, adventure, plenty of banter and finding new and creative ways to lovingly annoy each other And Helen and John, I am still not entering into the debate about who had the better vows! You have your whole lives together to sort that one out! xxx @avamephotography
