25.01.2022 We’re so excited to share that we’ve once again achieved our EarthCheck Platinum Certification, reflecting 12 years of best practice in business and environmental sustainability! Our latest audit highlighted our team’s ongoing commitment and efforts across numerous important areas, recognising us as a regional leader in water conservation, energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and minimising waste to landfill. Since first registering with EarthCheck in 2007, we’ve enj...oyed a long relationship with the internationally renowned program. In fact, we became the world’s first convention centre to achieve EarthCheck’s coveted Platinum Certification in 2018. This latest certification brings us one step closer to achieving EarthCheck Master status! To learn more about our sustainability initiatives, please visit https://bit.ly/2TRks8C. 20.01.2022 Today we’re reminiscing about Cellar Door Fest's 10th anniversary, held here at the Centre earlier this year. We were thrilled to learn that this amazing event has been announced as a ‘Best Event National Finalist’ in the Australian Event Awards and Symposium 2020! With record attendance, a host of delicious masterclasses, and a special Bushfire Relief Market supporting producers impacted by the devastating bushfires in the Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island, the 2020 festi...val was definitely one to remember! We look forward to hosting this event again in 2021, watch this space for more details! : Frankie Films

20.01.2022 #Flashback to the spectacular World Routes Networking and Awards Gala Event, held here at the Centre last year. We’re thrilled that this event has recently been announced as a Best Event National Finalist for the Australian Event Awards and Symposium. In order to meet the brief for ‘big impact’ and ‘fun’ while also creatively showcasing the destination, Lumino Events transformed our halls into a South Australian wonderland, resembling some of the State’s most iconic festivals... and destinations, including the Adelaide Fringe and Cabaret, along with South Australia’s Outback and world-class wine regions. Take a quick look back at the event in the gallery below. : Simon Casson Photographer.

19.01.2022 Oh, what a year! 2020 has been unlike anything we’ve ever experienced or expected, and we’ve certainly missed seeing clients at AVM’s venues - Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Coopers Stadium, along with AVMCatering. For those of us in the events industry, this year has reinforced the importance of creativity, innovation and thinking outside the box. So, as we get back into the ‘groove’ of business, we have put together this short video to highlight our commitment to reinvigorating the local economy. Special thanks to Adelaide-based singer Chloe Castledine and her band members from ‘The Cast’, along with Bill Spurr AO, Chair of the AVM Board. We had fun making this clip and hope you enjoy!

19.01.2022 A sign of the times: We joined the Adelaide Convention Bureau and other Team Adelaide partners to cross ‘live’ to some of our clients internationally recently as they couldn’t be with us in person. It’s great that we’ve enhanced our capabilities and grown our expertise to meet the challenge of pulling this virtual site inspection together. Our team is continuing to identify business events opportunities for our city, and can’t wait to welcome more international and interstate delegates to the Centre as soon as borders reopen!

18.01.2022 This year in support of Awareness Day, The Australasian Mastocytosis Society (TAMS) has launched their first annual #SpotOurSpots campaign. As part of the #SpotOurSpots campaign, TAMS has partnered with landmarks and venues across Australia to light up purple (the international colour for Mastocytosis and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), to raise awareness of Mastocytosis and Mast Cell Diseases - a broad family of diseases that can be life threatening and very often severely d...ebilitating. We are excited to join other Adelaide Riverbank landmarks in lighting up purple tonight in support of this campaign! For further information on participating venues, please visit https://bit.ly/34dCIPK or TAMS. The Australasian Mastocytosis Society.

17.01.2022 We’re joining our sister venue Adelaide Entertainment Centre in lighting up yellow tonight to mark the beginning of National Road Safety Week (15 22 November), an annual initiative created by the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group. Did you know that every year more than 1,200 people are killed and another 35,000 are seriously injured on Australian roads? Traffic injury is the biggest killer of Australian children under 15 and the second-biggest killer of all ...Australians aged between 15 and 24. Most importantly, it is preventable. National Road Safety Week aims to shine a light on this deadly issue with events, safety meetings, memorials and displays of yellow ribbons - honouring those that have been lost and pledging to make the roads safer for everyone. If you would like to learn more, show support or get involved, please visit https://bit.ly/38uvJUV.
