24.01.2022 Completed Victorian/Federation style en suite bathroom. There was no period option available for an exhaust fan. Lots of brainstorming later, we came up with this decorative plaster wall vent and custom installed this with an inline ducted fan kit. All up flows twice as much as a standard exhaust fan so not only looks good, works well too.

13.01.2022 Stumbled across this great place when asked to wire up 3 phase to one of their machines. It's a shared space workshop with a heap of tools for metal working, wood working, electronics, sewing, 3D printing etc, open to anyone to make whatever they want. https://www.facebook.com//pcb.255992783/2559920887413798/

05.01.2022 Close call for this couple when their old bathroom ceiling fan exploded! The cover had caught fire but luckily dropped to the floor, avoiding a potential roof fire if not worse. Not sure of the cause of this incident, but some good maintenance tips to avoid the type of thing; Regularly clean the inlet vent... Provide incoming air flow (open door or window) Roof space above should be clear of insulation and debris Noisy and slow fans should be replaced For units with heat lamps, the insulation should be also removed from the surrounding area as per installation instructions. Call or message Adelaide Electric on 0423 057 185 or 8367 9543.

02.01.2022 There are two kinds of smoke detector on the market, but one of them doesn’t deserve the name. Paul Skelton reports.

01.01.2022 Main Switch Board upgrade in a large house with 3 phase. Using Hager enclosure and individual Hager RCBO's. Great quality circuit protection and designed for easier and neater fitting. Peace of mind for the customer and us, knowing it will be a neat job with safety equipment that will last and perform correctly.
