17.01.2022 Almost everyone has heard of Ancestry.com or watched "who do you think you are". Many people that I speak to have already done their family tree or someone in their family have done it for them. I've been doing my own family tree for 20 years and have over 4,000 people in the tree with many great stories. There are also many people who dont know where to start, or dont have time to run around looking for the infformation. The cost certainly adds up with subscriptions, and p...urchasing certificates, and it takes a great deal of time. I've finished searching my tree and since my employer has released me from my obligations (retrenched from NAB), I'm starting a new enterprise assisting others in completing their family tree or filling in blanks. I have many stories from my tree and I'm sure everyone has a good story that you either already know or are yet to discover. Feel free to add your story to this sight as I'm interested to hear other peoples stories. As an Australian, we are often proud to be able to say that we are descended from convicts as many of us are. I was "lucky" enough to find two convicts. One was transported to Tasmania for smuggling goods from France to England in 1825, and the other was Transported to Tasmania for stealing 7 napkins in 1827.
