20.01.2022 STATE 10,000m & INTERCLUB 2 RESULTS Well done to the crew who braved 25 laps of the track at the state 10km track championships! Plenty of PBs and a few podiums for Harriers athletes. Special mention to Aleesha Robertson for a 1min+ PB and 4th place (34:12) in a sensational women's field leaving no doubt she can run at a national level. The top 3 Izzy Batt-Doyle, Jess Stenson and our own Tara Palm ran well under 33 minutes after being set a fast pace early. Massive well done... to Tara who after 20+ years of running, ran under 33 minutes for the first time on the track to a significant PB of 32:42. In the men's the pressure was on early for a handful of guys who were paced through a 15:40 5km split, aiming at 31:20 pace. Bryn Nicholls was able to follow this for a large part of the race and finished with a big PB of 31:37 for second place overall with Harrison Bagley placing 3rd. Congrats to Harry Bagley and Tom Milard breaking 4 min 1500m for the first time in heat 1 (link to the race attached) and plenty of other personal bests picked up in the good conditions.... The highly anticipated race of the 035s was on in heat 2 between track veteran Brad White and Bobby 'Welsh Wizard' Edwards which came down to the last 100m with Brad executing the sit n kick to win by 1s. 18.01.2022 Well done Belinda Richardson, Ciara Foster and Rosie Ranford for winning all three races today at the trail summer series at Anstey Hill. Belinda won the 22km Long course, Ciara the 12km medium course and Rosie the 8km short course. Well done Ben Hewson for taking out the short course, making 4/6 races red and white winners!

10.01.2022 2020 VIVA ALL SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS 1,2,3 from harriers boys in the U18 3000m on day 2 of the all schools championships. Well done to Tom Milard, Cael Mulholland and Cooper Giles on significant PBs (which are a happening weekly at the moment) to take out the podium representing their schools. Well done to eager Eloide who also won a silver medal in the U16 3000m (an age group above). 08.01.2022 INTERCLUB 9- 3 national 1500m qualifiers! Well done Tom Milard and Cooper Giles on their 1, 2 placing at interclub 9. The boys ran under the 3:56 U20 men's NQ for the first time. Annie Kitto won the women's in a PB time of 4:39.22 which got her under the open women's NQ of 4:40. All three have taken big jumps in performances this season. Tom also ran a 8:32 3000m last week with Tom Dowd not far behind in 8:34. Great work by Sophie Morphett who also ran a PB and broke 5 minu...tes for the first time. The young boys were on fire in the 1500m with Tom Milard moving within half a second from the national qualifier, while Jack Hunter and Arron Nitschke broke 4 minutes for the first time.
