23.01.2022 HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kag Allwood! I Just want to wish this amazing part of Haunted Horizons a very special Happy Birthday during a very tough year for her. I invited Kag to be a tour guide many years ago, wondering if I had made the right decision. It turned out to be the best decision I ever made. ... OMG... how amazing is this woman. Most of you only see her guiding your tours where she gives her all to make sure you have the best night possible, often working herself to exhaustion. What most of you don't see is the hours and hours she freely gives behind the scenes to help make your tours the best they can be. The passion and pride that she has put into Haunted Horizons equals my own and we could never have grown to the heights we have without her. Every day I am thankful for whoever put her in my path. Not only did she become a huge part of Haunted Horizons, but she also went on to become my best friend, and I would say one of those rare soulmate friends who are hard to find in a lifetime. The day she stepped into my life as a friend the darkness stepped out. I owe her so much. Since then we have packed in so many adventures together and laughed so hard until it hurt (usually at the expense of each other). We have spun and screamed in jetboats, nearly drowned in Shark Cages, and laughed in the face of danger. We have certainly given life a good shake so far. Thank you for helping make the journey with Haunted Horizons the enjoyable one it has been, but most of all, thank you Kag for choosing me as your friend. 19.01.2022 Kag's Hump Day Question: Have you ever seen a full-bodied apparition? Not a dark shadow figure or a mist, but a full on solid figure? It's a rare thing indeed. I will start with my story. ... A few years ago I was at the National Railway Museum and was waiting for my husband, son and another gentleman to come out of a carriage in the Main Pavilion. My two came off, exiting left, the other gentleman exited right. His wife asked where he was, so I explained he had just got off the train and shone my torch under the train to see where he was. I saw, what I presumed to be his dark shoes and light coloured trousers walking the length of the carriage. Her husband then appeared from the opposite side of the building. He hadn't been on the train! There were only 4 men in the group that night, three guests and the guide. Who did I see? Will we ever know? Now for your turn :)

14.01.2022 WE HAVE BEEN RELEASED!!! We are finally out of Facebook Prison after being wrongly convicted. We just want to thank you all for the love you gave us while we were locked up. The outpouring of support and the going out of your way to share our other page helped us more than you will ever know. It was crippling for a small business and this helped to keep us strong and determined to keep finding ways around it. ... Highlights: Tour - Reports of seeing a number of possible figures (especially in the Eastern corridor), feeling sick and a cold spot. Investigation - A figure was seen in the Break Van and a cat ball went off in 144 carriage (no-one was in there). There was an interesting sound reported too, as though someone was turning the page of a large old newspaper. Thank you to all that joined us for the night. Mikey here: 3hr Paranormal Investigation Highlights: In the Fluck Pavilion we heard what sounded like one of guests slipping off the platform onto the ballast stones. It was quite loud, loud enough for us all to look over and see what had happened. We were talking about sadness and the EDI lit up red and blue. This became extremely interesting because it was almost a yes-no response to our questions. Our third highlight was my Rem pod bear going off in the eastern corridor of the main pavilion.
